Chat during the game

Post by Querd »

Hi guys/girls,

What tools/sites/apps are you using for chatting during a match?
Do you use the 'Game Day' topics or have a preferred chat site / chat app?
I ask this because we had a hobby project and created a free Samsung SmartTV app which enables displaying chat messages on the big screen. The "only" think we have to do is to connect this app to a chat tool / site to get the messages (->Twitter connection is already working).
If you have a preferred tool / site / app to chat during a game please let me know.

The result on the screen is similar to this:

(For copyright reasons we used an Olympics games video; personally I would see a Bledsoe dunk again. Or a Bledsoe-LeBron alley-oop in the future :))
If you are interested in this tool just try it. And please send your preferred chat tool / app as well :)

Speak for yourself.

I watch every one but always "tape" delayed. So I'm not doing any chatting during the game. If I am close to caught up, I do my game talk on our message board.

tl;dr Your app wouldn't do me any good.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I DVR too. And I watch every game as long as I don't blow the recording no matter how bad they suck.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

Thanks for the info; as I understand the "stadium feeling" during TV watching is not so important as we thought :(.
