The young wolf pups come to town. I won't be surprised at any outcome although I'm thinking we'll probably get a win here.

ugh We're going to win. Hope I'm wrong and we see a competitive loss. We're just a lot better with Knight (not playoff good, but not 2-25 bad) I'd be stunned if we didn't overtake Brooklyn who has lost a ton of winnable games (for them) lately. I'm mildly concerned we may pass the Wolves.

Meh.

As much as I hate losing teams we need to tank this one time... I have some faith though the way we capitulated recently

Steph Curry hitting a bunch of crazy threes in the 4th means we capitulated? He's Steph Curry. He does that to everybody.

I just want to see Len win the matchup with Towns. 2020 WCF preview tonight! :D

... Probably more like 2020 second round matchup, seeing as how Steph Curry should continue to do his thing for the next 7 years or so.

It all depends on how his ankle holds up. Health issues sometimes have the tendency of cutting a career short.

And you never know how success will affect the team. This year they have been amazing. I am curious to find out what happens when they get more of it. For Suns fans, I hope it causes instability. For the league, they hope it doesn't.

After next season, they only have Klay and Green under contract (and Looney).

Have you listened to Bob Myers on The Lowe Post? He was also on Woj's podcast a few weeks ago. I wish he were the Suns GM. I think he'll manage things pretty well. I got the inclination that Barnes will be re-signed and Iggy will probably go elsewhere when his deal is up. We all know Curry will be getting a mega-max.

I haven't. I need to start listening to him, but I just have been swamped lately.

I am not saying that their situation is bad in any way; just pointing out that their team could look very different in 2 years.

Yes, of course Curry will get whatever he wants. But wouldn't it be interesting if he went the LeBron route (not the move to Miami, but the 2 year contract thing)?

Is he healthy enough to do that? I think that works for LeBron because he's never had a serious injury. I think the first time he tears something those 2 year deals are adios.

I think LeBron has already made enough for a lifetime (or two). He can do whatever he wants.

I think if you are regarded as the best (or 2nd best) player in the league, and already have enough money so that if something really bad happened, you would still be fine, you keep doing 2 year deals. Even if you tear something. There will be a team willing to give you the max (especially for only 2 years).

The other thing I'm interested in tonight -

Does Booker have another high-assist low turnover game? Does Knight have another great shooting performance? Because if yes on both counts, my Booker for PG campaign is going to start making buttons.

Knight played well last game but I just don't like that he takes the first partially open three he gets off the dribble. He can basically get that shot at any time but he loves to jack it up early in the shot clock.

He needs to stop trying to throwing lobs as well.
