For those excusing Ayton...hey, I/we want him...need him to succeed for the Suns to win. But here's reality...he was passive as F on offense last night. He stood away from the ball and showed NO fire last night. That has to change quickly or KAT has to be considered. It's one thing to see aggression with misses, etc. But last night...it just wasn't there...we'll see.

Second point...bring back Ty, at least he has potential. Our other second unit/backup PGs suck. The bench unit NEEDS a better PG...badly!

Excusing? Maybe you missed it but he came up huge late in the game, when it mattered. Mind you, he was essentially returning from a 30 game absence last night as a 2nd year player.

Only able to catch the last 3 minutes at work tonight but man I was aroused! Will have to watch the rest tomorrow morning
I recommend not watching the first quarter.
Except that makes the win that much greater. You've got to take the bad with the good. Us Suns fans know that well.

Ayton gets a pass for last night offensively. I’ll give him that game and the Laker game tomorrow. We’ve got a 7 game stretch against a bunch of bad to middling teams after that. He needs to get in rhythm for that. In the meantime, if he attacks the glass like he did in the 4th Q last night, I’ll be happy.

It’s nye and I’m wasted. Kissed a beautiful woman at the stroke of midnight. For a suns fan that’s considered success

I at least wasn't saying roast him on the Barbie yet...simply pointing out that if he continues to play that flat...its a really really really bad habit...and we WON'T succeed if he continues with that mindset. Why worry? Um, stupidity to go get himself suspended for 25 games. I think ALL of us are looking for him to recover/return and press on...but that needs him to get a fire lit under him...period.

Oh I agree. I would love to see some fire from Ayton offensively. People say it all the time, but he needs a little Amare in him. There was one play Ayton went up for a little floater and I feel like he could have jumped through Whiteside and either dunked over him or at least drawn a foul. Has he taken a FT yet this season?

From ESPN
Ricky Rubio’s last 10 games:

PTS: 17.1
AST: 9.6
REBS: 4.4
FG%: 45.6
3PT%: 36.1
FT%: 93.1

I don’t blame Mori for wanting to bang tbh
10/10 would smash

I have noticed Rubio’s shooting has been on the past 3/4 games. He seems streaky. He is either on or off.

Mikal is my favorite player. He had a rough start this season but he's now showing all the good things he did last year. I only watch suns games, so I don't know as much as you guys about other NBA players, but how does he compare with a young Khawi?

I love Mikal Bridges, but young Kawhi was much more talented even at this stage in his career.

In year 2, the two are fairly comparable. Kawhi was a starter getting more minutes, but his role was similar and his per 36 numbers were almost identical to Mikal. Kawhi became one of the Spurs go-to guys on offence in his 4th season - at the age of 23. Mikal is 23 now.

I don't expect Mikal to take the leap Kawhi took. He doesn't have the body for it IMO. But I believe Mikal will be an excellent role player with a similar style to Kawhi.
