Who's your top guy at 16 if we keep the pick.

I let you pick two options. One if we go big at the top and one if we go Doncic/Young or any other non 5.
Re: Who's your top guy at 16 if we keep the pick.
I went Jontay Porter and Aaron Holiday. Thought about Robert Williams and Shake Milton. Khyri Thomas is interesting too.
If DeAnthony Melton could shoot, he'd be my top guy, but he's undraftable without a jump shot on our roster. At least at 16, I'd be fine at 31.
Zhaire Smith and Keita Bates-Diop are intriguing as well, but I see the 1 and 5 as more important positions right now for us.

Don’t know enough about any of the players , I won’t vote but I’ll be quick to criticize McD if they don’t pan out

Why wait for a player to flop? I'll be quick to criticize McD if we don’t get lucky in the lottery.

I kind of like Aaron Holiday but I am only just now starting to look at guys for #16.

I just noticed that neither Landry Shamet nor Gilgeous-Alexander are listed. I think both are possible Suns picks.

Forgot Shamet, I was planning to put him on. Left SGA off because I don't think he lasts till 16... Could be wrong though
Re: Who's your top guy at 16 if we keep the pick.
Porter's my guy at 16 regardless of who we take up top. But I'm not sure we keep the pick. SGA would be exciting, but he'll be gone.

I don't know enough about the college players to make a pick here. I just know that you're making INF's blood boil by your subject saying "if we keep the pick."

Jontay Porter is a stud. I honestly would draft him in the top 10.
Free Agency
DeMar Derozan for the minimum!
PG: Jordan McLaughlin, Killian Hayes, Kris Dunn, Spencer Dinwiddie, Monte Morris
C: Mo Bamba, Andre Drummond, James Wiseman, Goga Bitadze, Jay Huff

My first pick was Porter. I know next to nothing about the other guys, but I saw a game from Dzanan Musa once and he was raining 3s, so he was my second pick
But now I checked his averages and let's just say they aren't great. I may need to retract the vote.

Best post of the thread by a long shot. You made me LOL with this one, saucey.specialsauce wrote:Don’t know enough about any of the players , I won’t vote but I’ll be quick to criticize McD if they don’t pan out
As for these players, I don't know anything about them. I will have to read and watch some video before trying to answer. Interested to read everybody else's thoughts.

I have Porter as our first option too but I fear he will not be there when we pick. People are torn on him though. Shake will almost certainly be there but he of course doesn't make too much sense if we don't end up drafting a big guy with our 1-4 pick. So for me this question depends a little bit on our first selection. Yeah BPA - but developing a potentially good player into a building block of the franchise also depends on the team's circumstances, such as available playing time at that position.
Since the league is a lot more about making shots (threes in particular) than a few years ago I would prefer to get at least one excellent shooter with one of our first round picks.
Donic and Porter vs. Ayton/Bagley/JJJ and X (e.g. Shake?)
