Not a fan? Yes, I assumed when I saw this news that Woodson is out. Looks like Prunty and Williamson. Will there be more?

Shouldn't Woodson work as an assistant at New Orleans? Something about equilibrium of eyebrows...

I'm not a fan.

I think teams typically have 5ish assistant coaches. So I expect to hear a few more names.

I’d bet a steak dinner that there were “financial reasons” Woodson didn’t join the staff.

BTW, Marty. You are going to be an excellent father! You have a huge headstart on the dad jokes.

Also, Ayton already is spending quality time with – potentially – his future Suns teammates. General Manager Ryan McDonough said Ayton has become friends with several of Phoenix’s younger players, including Devin Booker, Josh Jackson and Marquese Chriss. Booker, Jackson, Chriss and Dragan Bender were among the Suns who stayed and watched Ayton’s workout Wednesday.
Heh. Smart. When his basketball career is done, he can be a lobbyist. He’s a natural.

Question for the board. If Ayton is our pick, is it worth keeping Chandler around for another year to mentor him?

Yes, as long as Ayton is the starter and gets the bulk of the minutes. I don't think there would be a market for Chandler at this point anyway, so I think he's here regardless.

Yea It'd be wise to keep him around and then maybe look to flip at the deadline as an expiring deal.

I’d shop him and see if we get any good offers, but I wouldn’t trade him just to trade him.

Am I the only person who saw that josh Jackson had his fro cut off?
I know it’s not earth shattering, but I’ll miss it. It’s like Harden shaving his face; it just ain’t right, lol
