Agreed. He has the potential to go top 2 in my opinion.

PG: Jordan McLaughlin, Killian Hayes, Kris Dunn, Spencer Dinwiddie, Monte Morris

It's just a saying. Wasn't meant to be taken literally. Bol Bol's three point shot is much more fluid as well.

His low release point is a bit worrisome. It won't matter when he plays against Western Oregon in an exhibition.

I'll be keeping an eye on this, as he's measured at(in some places) as 7'3" with an 8ft wingspan. A low release point is still higher than most, but I'll be curious on how this goes. He has a nice stroke and form, with a pretty quick release. It could be easily tweeked to be a little higher.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 4:31 pmHis low release point is a bit worrisome. It is pretty quick, a bit similar to Marion's shot even though Bol's form is much better looking to the eye.In2ition wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 4:44 pmI'll be keeping an eye on this, as he's measured at(in some places) as 7'3" with an 8ft wingspan. I'm not sure it's something that'll be messed with very much. Being the son of a fairly successful NBA player leads me to believe that he's already received some of the best coaching for every aspect of basketball. I don't think he'll be in the same category of guys like Durant and Giannis as freakishly long scorers.

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Thread
Several bigs have lower release points... Like Jaren Jackson Jr. for example. I wonder why that is... it can't be an easier shot mechanically, right?
Re: 2019 NBA Draft Thread
Zion on ESPN right now if anyone is interested. Still blows my mind he's 270+ lbs.
Re: 2019 NBA Draft Thread
This Barrett, Reddish, Zion trio is gonna be something else this year. I'd be happy to add any one of them to this roster.

This would be the year we trade a pick for a guy we shouldnt trade a pick for because of Sarvers playoffs delusions.Cap wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 8:28 pm#TankTimeTheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 8:20 pmThis Barrett, Reddish, Zion trio is gonna be something else this year. I also really like Zion, but I'm concerned about how well his athleticism will hold up in the NBA.

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Thread
2 points:
1) getting a pg in next years draft wont help this team improve short term (next 2 years). #MoreTankTime
2) zion is fun to watch, but probably the wrong fit for this team. there is also the danger that this team is going to ruin him...

Barrett all the way.
I hear on some podcasts that Zion's position in the NBA is small ball 5. Until he can shoot, that may very well be the case.
I love Bol Bol for the name and measurables, a little worried about the motor concerns.

Heck, I would trade this Suns team for the Duke team right now, that's how disgusted I am with this team and their effort.

Re: 2019 NBA Draft Thread
Oregon is playing right now and I've been watching most of the second half.
Everyone knows about his length, and he has an exceptional scoring touch for a player of any size. But I agree with your concerns.
He's still very immature as a player. His fundamentals break down on the defensive end fairly quickly, and he doesn't consistently assert himself on the glass. Sometimes things move a bit too fast for him to process and his body language reminds me of someone who's been getting a lot of special treatment to this point.
I don't think there's any chance he stays for a second year at Oregon, but he'd really benefit from the development of a second year at the college level.
