What IS the best way to make a long bet on the Suns? Playoffs seems like a good risk-reward kind of bet -- and I'm wondering how to do it.
According to https://www.oddschecker.com/us/basketba ... e-playoffs, FanDuel is offering +1300 on the Suns to make the playoffs.

That actually strikes me as an attractive bet.
So if I bet 250, I'd walk away with 3500?! Wow.
You’d “walk away” with 3500 including the 250 you brought to the table. Profit would be 3250.

I think you can do it online at fanduel.com.

As long as Superbone doesn’t bet on it. That would frighten me. :P

Thanks for the links, with Dish not having Fox Sports AZ anymore plus the league pass option saying the Suns will be blackout since I'm local. Going to need them
Fox Sports is back on Dish.
Unfortunately, the regionals are still not there. Just FS1 and perhaps some other Fox properties that I don't care about.

I am excited about this year's squad, but I wouldn't make that bet. I think the West is too stacked this year for us to make the playoffs. But I do think we will be MUCH improved and win maybe twice as many games as last year, which would be a small miracle. Plus we'll be way more fun to watch.

You’re probably right, but that’s why it pays 13-1.

I think I will too. Going to Vegas on NBA opening week.

I put a small amount on over 29.5 wins. If you like our team this year, I think that's your best bet.

How does that payout? I don't understand betting / odds.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

It's even money. Bet x, win x minus small fee.

Right. It's hard to find anything better than -110 online, but you could probably get -105 in person in Vegas or AC.

For AIG, who doesn’t understand betting/odds, -110 means you must risk 110 to win 100.

Positive numbers are the other way around. +1300 means risk 100 to win 1300.
