The Luka Doncic is Great, Woe is Us thread

Or just maybe, Ayton is our Olajuwon to Dallas' Jordan. This is the thread to get it out of your system in an attempt to keep it out of every other thread.

Signed, Co-Signed, Underscored.

He was made to be a Sun.

Someone photoshop a uniform onto him.

Maybe we can find a portal to the alternate universe it came from if we try hard enough.

Something like those Marion -Rubio pics??

If so, then I agree, we urgently need the Luka Doncic edition

What’s worse, drafting Ayton over Doncic or Jackson over Fox/Isaac.

Tough question, Doncic is the best player and looks to be a future MVP type player. Still, I think Ayton will be an all star center in the nba. Jackson is the worst draft pick I think we’ve ever made(I liked the pick at the time, but I’m glad I was on the record for slightly preferring Isaac)

So what’s better, two borderline all-star level players or 1 MVP and a net negative?

It all depends on how good Ayton becomes. There are only so many generational players. If you had a chance to take one and didn't, that hurts more. If Ayton is our Olajuwon, it will hurt less.

Jonathan Isaac is a nice player, but much more replaceable.

Stupidest damn thread I have ever seen. He is on another team, get over it. We have Ayton and will be very good too. And get Kevin Johnson’s jersey off him.

Can't really add much to this.

I'm pretty sure 80% of this site is lamenting the "what-ifs" of Suns fandom, from "KJ should have stretched more before games" to the Joe Johnson Fiasco to the Diaw-Amare suspensions to signing IT when we had 2 point guards. We may need more than 13 months to "get over" passing on a franchise player.

I'm still pissed about the KT trade.

I'm still happy we finally got a center. Why worry about this until 2-3 years from now (or more), when we see which player/team has more success?

Exactly. Has he dominated a single game and won it for us?

All our thread titles should end with "Woe is Us". I love it!

Coincidentally, I don't think Book would be here if we had drafted Luka. We might have ended up with Luka and Porzingis.
