Mitchell and Gobert the last two on the board. Utah fans must feel like Rodney Dangerfield.

This was really enjoyable, particularly the part about Ayton. Eddie vocalized what a lot of us have been saying.

Book and CP3 on opposite teams...are we Team Booker(KD) or Team Paul(Lebron)?

Already as many or more wins this year than Bookers first 4 years. Last year the only exception.

Second best record in the league going into the All-Star break is not something I anticipated.

I voted 40 wins in that poll... I've not been this happy about being wrong (knock on wood) in a looooong time.

And to think we are mad at the 3/4 games we lost that we should have won if we had put more than a quarter's worth of effort in.
The other games that were coin flip close that we almost won and you can see we are where we are by rights and have much to look forward to in the second half.
With us siting second, What do others think we are short of to be considered real title contenders? We have to be in the conversation due to the win % but seem to be left out a lot of the time because of our recent past.
I'd say a proper reserve big man to man the middle if DA is in foul trouble or not got his head in the game and we could be very dangerous to any team in a 7 game series.

I don't think we'll ever be legit title contenders until we can at least play competitively in the West finals. At this point as a long suffering Suns fan I worry about CP3's hamstrings, Booker's defense, whether Mikal's frame can handle the physicality in the playoffs, Ayton, and our lack of big man depth. I would very much like to bolster that backup 4/5 spot. Wondering if we have the salaries and assets to acquire a Thad Young or even Bjelica.

I think we still need to prove we can play through contact and get to the ft line with composure.England Sun wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:24 amAnd to think we are mad at the 3/4 games we lost that we should have won if we had put more than a quarter's worth of effort in.

We definitely still have a lot to prove. Even our vets like Paul have to show that they can handle a deep playoff run. Crowder has been to the Finals, but that's about it. Book still hasn't been to the playoffs yet at all, nor have any of our other young guys. So I think folks are still going to doubt us until we show it in the postseason. I bet a lot of pundits will have us losing in the 2nd round this year in their predictions.
