Huge win to start the series. More of a complete team win from us with damn near everyone contributing while it was really just the PG show for LA.
Without Kawhi, the Clips will need those career-type games from Mann/Jackson/Batum every night. I'm sure it'll happen sometime, but 4 times? I wouldn't bet on it.

Book with his first career triple double and really put the team on his back. DA took advantage of the smaller lineups and was maybe the most aggressive near the rim I've ever seen him. Wonder if that's the most dunks he's had in a game? Payne with 11 and 9, did a really solid job but you could tell Monty put the ball in Book's hands to close it out. 14 from Bridges, 13 from Jae, 12 from Cam and 8 from Craig. We know our wing shooting is key and those guys were 9-20 combined from 3.
This is shaping up to be a fantastic coaching battle. Monty pulled the first move by wisely taking Payne out to close the game. I think he'd have been fine with keeping him in the game if it weren't for his temper running too hot and Paul George was hunting him.

I wonder if Lue goes big from here in out with more minutes going to Zubac and Cousins at the 5 and Morris at the 4. How the Clips respond will be telling. I don't expect them to quit, but this has to be deflating and with no time to rest, they may have a hangover. We'll just have to wait and see when Paul gets back.
This Clippers team isn't going to quit at all. Even if the Suns are somehow up 3-0 with a 15 point lead in the fourth quarter of game 4, they're going to fight.
