If everyone in the West gets reasonably healthy they're clearly behind the Suns, Warriors, Jazz, Grizzlies and Nuggets and probably also the Mavericks and Clippers.
As for the Lakers, it depends on how healthy they are. If AD gets back to his old self I can see them giving anyone a tough series. LeBron is still one of the 5 best players on the planet. And AD at full strength is better than any other teams #2. The rest of their team is pretty garbage, but I’m not going to completely write them off as long as LeBron is still there.
I don’t think they have the pieces to make any moves of significance, but could snag a decent buyout guy.
If you gave me a choice to pick our first round opponent, I’d rather face Denver, Dallas, Memphis over LAL. Clips, Jazz, Warriors the only teams I’m more potentially scared of.
