How many teams have won 40 games before losing 10? Can’t be much, think we’re on a 67 win pace.

Warriors were 48 and 4 in 2016. As I type that, I thought... Holy shit! 73 and 9 for the season! WTF...

Edit: and they lost to the Cavs in 7 in the Finals. The Spurs only lost 15 games that season. Wow.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Ya it’s definitely happened…I checked all the teams that won 66 games or more and all but 1 or 2 got to 40 before 10…but I’m sure a few more did as well.

I also forgot that Warriors team won like 25 games before they even lost a single game.

Nice win. Chris Paul had the big triple-double with 21, 14, and 10. Book had 29 and 9. Cam Johnson made a bunch of nice shots and had 23 points. Hope he didn't hurt himself on that fall near the end of the game. I thought Stix also had a nice night despite having to try to slow down KAT most of the evening; he had 10 points and 4 boards before fouling out.

I've been quick to criticize Shamet, but he had a great game tonight. 17 points on 5-10 shooting and just generally looked confident and in his rhythm. He also had 5 assists and several really nice passes to open cutters. I was really happy with how he played tonight. Rooting for him.

Anthony Edwards is pretty nasty. He is big and strong and hard to stop, and he's one of those guys who when he pulls up for a big shot or 3, you always are afraid it's going to go in. KAT is really tough to defend, too, but he just seems like a guy who isn't playing up to his full potential. He looks overweight and he spends half the game crying about fouls he thinks should have been called. He isn't under control and gets T'ed up. And he seems a bit too content to camp outside and bomb 3s (though he is pretty good at making them). I like the guy but imagine he must be frustrating to have as one of the stars of your team.

I'm glad that Pat Beverley didn't play tonight. FUCK that guy. He can go take a long walk off a short pier. Stay on that bench, fella.

Some say that KAT is a wing in a center’s body and his game backs that up. I haven’t watched the game yet so I won’t comment on him too much but on that team they seem to let Ant take the inside opportunities more than others.

Last year and before Booker had a reputation for complaining to the refs. This year I think he’s been much better and that is corroborated when he responded to questions about all star selection with “I don’t get concerned with those things anymore” or something like that. Your confidence in your own performance is rooted in the win-loss column and I think Booker is there. KAT is still a couple years away from that.

Edwards could be a major problem in a couple years…He’s got some Donovan Mitchell in him, but in a 6’5 220lb body.

Nice to see Landry hitting shots tonight.
Yeah, I was happy for him. Everybody has been sh*7Ing on him so I was glad to see him have a good night. He wasn’t Cam Johnson hot but was a positive factor for the team tonight.

Chris Paul nutmeg results in a Taurean Prince shove in the back to end it
Heh, yeah. Originally I didn’t know why Prince made that silly foul with 6 seconds left but then I saw that Paul embarrassed him through the legs. Ah, poor sap.

4th quarter

Ball movement leads to Cam 3
Then leads to Shamet 3
Book on drive and kicks to Cam

More ball movement leads to two wide open for Book and he misses. Then Book starts trying to go for the dagger shots, not much ball movement last couple minutes 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

And as someone said earlier another night where he ends super cold. Either way, cool to get win # 40

Well, you’re going to have to wait until Sunday for that.

Edwards is different, he's already as good as Mitchell to me, that kid is absolutely fearless, he's got some DWade in him.

I just checked our schedule and although it's a decent chance that Book cooks him again, I rather we didn't have to deal with his antics especially late in the season - March 23 @ Minn

Best start in franchise history. Shame it's on Bally's which has caused viewership numbers to be near their lowest the past decade, per BSoTS podcast. Especially with Covid. People could use some sunshine.
I think a ton of people are still watching, just not in a way they count (streaming other than ballys).

I watch on League Pass, so I don't know whether that counts in their numbers.

CP3 is averaging his highest minutes since 2014-15. I think Monty needs to start prioritizing health over wins.

Ya that’s a good comp, Wade with a pull up 3 game. He’s scary
