All Star Weekend 2022

Curry has literally hit 15 of 21 three-pointers right now. He's shattering the all time All-Star game record. And we aren't even to the 4th quarter yet. It's insane.

Giannis suddenly started playing defense late in the 3rd quarter. He fouled Murray on a jump shot that made both guys fall and pettily deflected away an ally-oop pass. Seems like at least a few guys aren't thrilled with him right now.

Well Book was getting up the 3s and tonight he had one of those games we are quite familiar with where he didn't have it going from deep
Wouldn't expect to see him working his midrange game in such a game so his shooting line wasn't too hott

I thought Middleton was terrible all game

The teams picked it up in the 4th as been the case with the Elam Ending but Spoelstra went small ball with Book at the 4
I was fairly certain that the game was gonna end on a Giannis or Allen put back lol

Oh well, on to the second half of the season

He was one of the few players hustling though. He was playing D most of the game. Noticed he ended up defending a lot of the shots down the stretch and not because he was being targeted, he was just picking up the ball in transition.

Honestly thought this was a really fun game. 1st Q was pretty meh, but Curry carried the middle quarters knocking down 13 3s. 4th Q Elam ending is always fun.

All-star game should follow suit with the rising stars challenge and do a 4 team Elam ending tourney. I’d just add 2 teams to the nba, split into 4 divisions of 8 and there’s your 4 teams. Name like a 7-8 player All-Division team. You don’t need 12 guys per team for all-star mini games.

In fact I have a bigger idea that would incorporate the mid season tournament during the all-star break and make for a highly entertaining 2/3rds point of the season that sets up an exciting finish.

Man I really didn't lose any sleep over the Top 75 list
I never get caught up in the rankings stuff but honestly seeing Dame come out especially as he was among other guards
I was like ammmm, I know his numbers must make a case but he didn't seem to fit in that echelon

Seems a touch early for Dame. He’s probably a top 75 guy, but he’s borderline and I’d have waited on him. I know Dwight has fallen off the superstar radar, but for about 5 years there he was the best big in the league and a near mvp level guy. He should’ve been on the list.
