Me too. I really hate what the US Airways transition did to AWA, and am already hating the American transition...

This is great!

It's a wonderful, wonderful video, and a really great memory of the universally beloved Bol, who passed away in 2010. Everything is perfect: the way Bol barely leaves the ground for his jumpers, and takes them from well beyond the arc; the way the announcers go from impressed to incredulous to delirious; the increasing buzz from the crowd each time Bol pulls up; the reactions from players on both teams, especially Bol's close friend and old teammate Charles Barkley.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I just came here to post that! Gerald Green would win the dunk contest again with some of those.

Most of those are really hard, but the last one, the underneath both legs while almost in a sitting position is very very difficult.
Go Suns!

The talking stick, also called a speaker's staff, is an instrument of aboriginal democracy used by many tribes, especially those of indigenous peoples of the Northwest Coast of North America. The talking stick may be passed around a group or used only by leaders as a symbol of their authority and right to speak in public.

That is about the worst shooting form I have ever seen. Reminds me of Jamaal Wilkes.

That's what you got out of it? Who cares. Bol wasn't playing basketball for his shooting. And Wilkes could really score.

Sorry. I wasn't trying to be over critical. Should have said something positive to go along with the other observation. Its really one of my faults. I look at stuff like that and see details rather than the overall intent and idea. Apologies.

Heh. No problem, JCSF. I overreacted as well. I was thinking of it as a feel-good sequence from a man who is no longer with us and was as nice as they come by all accounts.

I'm fully expecting a bunch of suns trade rumours to start soon due to the inconsistent play. Feels about that time. Anyone got anything?

Plenty of board speculation, but nothing of substance. Isaiah Thomas has been sitting an awful long time close to the deadline (9 days away) for newly-signed FA trades, but nothing concrete or even rumored, far as I know.....

We're going to have one of those at the arena and pass it around. Whoever has the stick gets to cheer.

The arena noise level probably wouldn't change much.
