He has impacted their entire team that way. I guess he is a guy you love if he is on your team (based on reading things from LAC or now Minny fans), but I just don't see it.

Can’t clinch the 7 seed, they clinched the 7th spot for the play-in which means they get a home game against 8th for the 7th seed, but whoever wins that game gets the 7 seed.

7th seed and 8th seed are not spots you earn in the regular season; you have to do that through the play-in games.

I think that’s most likely a leak from either Westbrooks team or the Lakers. I doubt Charlotte is interested, but if they were trying to clear their books and build around LaMelo/Bridges, maybe there is something to a Hayward/Rozier for Westbrook and 2 1sts deal.

They’d have to be picks way off in the future somewhere - 2026 and 2028 would be first available to be traded, if I’m interpreting what I’ve looked up correctly.

Checked the Suns’ future pick status while I was there. Nothing owed beyond this year, and of course the picks conveyed this off-season will both end up being the lowest possible value based on draft position. Suns are in a good position as far as draft flexibility for future trades or whatever.

I believe 2027 and 2029 are the ones they could trade. So yes, way in the future, but if they’re unprotected they could be very valuable at some point.
