Russell Westbrook may be a top 4 player in the NBA. After the LeBron/Durant/Davis holy trinity - he's in that next group with Curry, Harden, Paul, Gasol, etc.

Parker was the front runner for rookie of the year. I suppose that's out now. Sad.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

He has single-handedly kept my ridiculously injured fantasy team afloat.

Is yours in worse shape than mine?

My team includes the following players that have been injured and missed significant time:
-Dwight, Durant, Calderon, IT, Dragic, RoLo, Gortat, Taj Gibson,

Am I still allowed to hate Westbrook even though he is a good player?

Man, that stinks about Parker. Now he and Randle both are out for the entire season. Too bad.

Who wins RotY now? Wiggins by default?

That's a really good question. Wiggins hasn't been amazing but look how awful everyone else is.... I mean there's some truly terrible shooting going on and some guys just aren't getting any time. I think making a run at Vonleh makes a lot of sense. If Charlotte is just going to sit him on the bench... shoot Lavine might be his only competition unless we're calling Mirotic a rookie and I guess you have to.

Wiggins 12.6 and 3.8 on 39% - 32 mpg
Zach Lavine 9 and 3.5 on 39% - 25 mpg
Aaron Gordon 5.8 and 3 on 58% - 15 mpg
Dante Exum 4.7 and 2 on 39% - 17 mpg
Marcus Smart 5.9 and 1.5 on 33% - 16 mpg
Noah Vonleh 2.7 and 2.7 on 42% - 8 mpg
Nik Stauskas 3.6 on 33% - 14 mpg
Elfrid Payton 6.4 and 4.8 on 38% - 24 mpg
Doug McDrmott 3.2 and 1.6 on 42% - 11 mpg
Gary Harris 3.3 and .8 on 25% - 13 mpg
Rodney Hood 4.9 and 2 on 30% - 16 mpg
Mirotic 7 and 5.4 on 41% - 17 mpg
Shabazz Napier 6 and 2 on 44% - 21 mpg
PJ Hairston 5.4 and 2 on 32% - 15 mpg
Go Suns!

The consistency of those shooting percentages is pretty shocking.

Give TJ 25 a night starting January, and he may yet have a shot at it...

You know, people went on and on about how great that rookie class was. Not saying it was a bad class, but they look decidedly mediocre when you look up and down that list. (Thanks, carey, for posting the stats - more great stuff from you as usual!)

How about these rumors of Rondo to the Mavs for a few chickens and a bale of hay?

Rondo-Ellis-Parsons-Dirk-Chandler is a damn impressive starting 5.

I don't think Rondo is a good fit for the way Dallas currently plays on O. Carlisle's an excellent coach and will probably make it work, but they have a ton of ball movement in their offense and their ideal PG can hit open 3s. Rondo's pretty ball-dominant and can't shoot. Definitely a talent upgrade, though.

If Dallas loses out to Rondo, I'd try and send them IT. Also ball dominant, but a much better shooter.

No defense, though, and you don't want that alongside Monta.

53 year old Jameer Nelson is no world beater on D either.

Dallas also has JJ Barea, another undersized, ball dominant, No-D guard ...
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...
