If that’s your logic, then it’s just Ayton for Williams since Crowder and Craig are also expiring deals but to your point that would still be lopsided to Boston favor so maybe a couple first round picks from them too? Maybe even Grant Williams? Don’t think Boston would want give him up too tho.Indy wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 8:17 amI think Horford is on an expiring deal, so it is really all of those guys for Williams. I like him, and he is on a great contract, but that seems lopsided in Boston's favor.Wally_West wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 7:53 amHow about this Ayton S&T:
Ayton, Crowder and Craig for Al Horford and Robert Williams.
My thinking is Ayton is if is truly done with us then this deal would let us solidify our big man rotation, while keeping us competitive defensively down low, and offensively too. I think we can recreate a lot of the same stuff we did with Ayton but with Horford and Williams doing different duties plus Horford is a good playmaking big too. Since Horford is a big expiring deal, it would still let us be flexible with getting a star at the deadline and now we have a couple more draft picks too from the Celtics to sweeten any deal.
Boston does it because Ayton a clear upgrade over Robert Williams and Hortford is 36 years old with Crowder, you add another solid veteran 3&D wing. I added Craig because I think that makes it work money wise for an Ayton S&T.
