Agreed if we just fed him. But if those extra shots came off of o-boards or DHOs, I think it would help us win.Shabazz wrote: ↑Thu Jul 14, 2022 3:43 pmThis line of argument doesn’t address the important question: what’s better for the Suns?Indy wrote: ↑Thu Jul 14, 2022 11:09 amIn the B.C. years, Ayton averaged 15.34 FGA/36 and scored 19.73/36 on 56.95%FG.
In the W.C. years, Ayton averaged 13.0 FGA/36 and scored 18.75/36 on 63.0%FG.
So yeah, his took 2 less shots per 36 minutes, and scored 1 less point per 36. But he was WAY more efficient with CP--a 6% increase in FG% is ridiculous.
Also, his Oboards went down by 0.5/36--If he even kept that at the same as before Paul, it should have given him the same scoring average as before.
Yes, we could feed DA all game and have him put up 10 more shots a game and score 23 points instead of 17. I don’t think that translates to more wins.

LOL, I recently saw some else said “Go to hell idiot” but I’m the one calling personal stuff, good one Jeremy, but let’s take it from here then.
Minorities matter, but 31% percent is not enough to pass any kind of bill -as a Max Contract would be- and particularly, on a poll with a Yes or No choice on it, 31% is clearly being on the wrong side of it, on this cases it’s not sizable, it’s just plain wrong by a landslide. And to use your own style, you would run to point out that 937 IS NOT a thousand people, so you are plain wrong.
What about the paragraph about the market settling the max discussion? Theres was nothing personal on it, why did you leave it out of your response?
After Ayton signs a contract, I'll address the market discussion.
The market value for DA says that he is a max player.
The market set him aside, and ignored his asking price.
It’s only because Ayton’s agent finally found a team desperate enough to throw an offer sheet (maybe collecting past favors) is that we finally saw some movement on this end. This lonely offer from a marginal team does not equals to him being a Max Player, just another soon-to-be-overpaid player.
Re: Deandre Ayton's future with the Suns?
Lol, now that you've been proven wrong you have to make excuses. If those 10 shots only generate six points, it won’t translate to more wins. But that assumption is kind of begging the question, isn’t it? Ayton’s TS% is a bit higher than .300, if you hadn’t noticed.Shabazz wrote: ↑Thu Jul 14, 2022 3:43 pmThis line of argument doesn’t address the important question: what’s better for the Suns?Indy wrote: ↑Thu Jul 14, 2022 11:09 amIn the B.C. years, Ayton averaged 15.34 FGA/36 and scored 19.73/36 on 56.95%FG.

But a huge part of his TS% is where we get him the ball. You can't get him the ball in those spots if he doesn't force himself there.Cap wrote: ↑Thu Jul 14, 2022 5:09 pmIf those 10 shots only generate six points, it won’t translate to more wins. Re: Deandre Ayton's future with the Suns?
No idea what are you calling excuses. There were many teams with the possibility to get Ayton, just look what the Mavs did to get Gobert, or the Knicks for Brunson and now Mitchell, but there were only ONE team making Ayton a late offer (one of the worst FA destinations), the rest of the market ignored him. Pacers are banking on the chance to finally landing some relevant free agent, and OVERPAYING HIM to convince Ayton and make it happen. I already said that at 20mill (25 also) Ayton would already be signed, is the stubbornness to milk every possible dollar on both sides that lead us here.JeremyG wrote: ↑Thu Jul 14, 2022 4:46 pmLol, now that you've been proven wrong you have to make excuses. But that’s not market value, that was an agent doing a hell of a job with a team nobody else would be willing to go.
