In my experience, I've found LDS folks to be far more tolerant of minorities than just about any other conservative group in the US. Fairly progressive overall perhaps because they are so well educated. It maybe it is because they are recruiting from all over the world. It doesn't matter, really.SunsRIt wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 7:57 pmWhat the hell is your problem.TOO wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 7:52 pmSunsRIt wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 7:41 pmYou need to check yourself dude. Someone needs to lock this thread. To me, Mormon bashing in this manner is just as bad as throwing out racist slurs.
Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
Just seeing some of these messages. I apologize for partly getting the topic going by talking about Utah trading for white guys. It seems to have escalated into personal barbs and trashing entire large groups of people based on their religion. Let's not. I don't want to delete posts or lock the thread unless absolutely necessary, but let's agree to knock it off with those kinds of messages.
Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
That’s a great deal, still surprised Portland just threw him in with CJ in that deal.
Think NOP’s best lineup will be CJ/Herb/BI/Zion/Nance

The Pelicans are building a good team.
Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
I wouldn’t be surprised if they snagged a top 3 seed. Kinda like Memphis last year.
Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
They were already formidable as we discovered in the first round last year. With a healthy Zion, they are scary.

Seems like a lot, wonder if this affect's Cam's numbers.
Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
4/120 guaranteed for Herro. Ayton got 4/133…basically the same

Is Westbrook learning and adapting?
Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
Should we undercut the Lakers and go after a Hield/Turner package?
If they’re looking for salary filler and two unprotected picks, we could use one of ours and also get one from Miami for Jae in a 3-way trade.

Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
How about Crowder/Shamet to Miami
Turner/Hield/Vincent to us
DR/Saric/Payne/2 1sts(1 from each) to Indy.
The DR contract is the problem. Not sure Indy would take that without more incentive.
Paul/Booker/Bridges/Johnson/Ayton
Vincent/Hield/Craig/Ish/Turner
I’d probably want a more reliable backup wing, but that’s a much better bench than we currently have.

Been campaigning for Hield for a minute, feel like getting both Hield and turner is a little bit of a pipe dream tho.Split T wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 11:20 amHow about Crowder/Shamet to Miami

Agreed. It's also much better than trading Ayton for Turner.Split T wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 11:20 amHow about Crowder/Shamet to Miami

Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
Would you include another 1st? So Indy gets 3 1sts…That’s the only way I see them taking on DR’s contract. But maybe Miami should have to give it.Wally_West wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 11:50 amBeen campaigning for Hield for a minute, feel like getting both Hield and turner is a little bit of a pipe dream tho.Split T wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 11:20 amHow about Crowder/Shamet to Miami

Re: Around the League News - 2022 Offseason Edition
I do think it would take 3 1st to take on DR’s contract. I wouldn’t give up 2 1st personally, but if Miami wanted too I’d be more than happy but doubt the price is worth it for them. Id honestly prefer to trade for Hield straight up, a 1st with crowder and Shamet or Dario, if they just want expiring contracts, I don’t see why Russ offer should be more appealing than that. In this scenario they could also flip crowder for and get another 1st and asset too.Split T wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 11:59 amWould you include another 1st?
