Sounds like the Knicks are going to waive Dalembert. I wouldn't mind having him as a back up to Len, I think Plumlee plays better at the 4.

I wonder why Reggie Jackson's name was mention as part of the trade in the first place? Maybe another team is grabbing OKCs attention for him.

I am curious what makes you think Plumlee can play the 4? He can't shoot outside of 5 feet. Maybe he defends 4 a little better than C's but that would be the only reason.
Go Suns!

He's not a great shooter, but I think he hits the boards hard and seems more active when he's at the 4. I suppose if he's out there with guys like IT or Green, I'm not so concerned about his offensive game. I want him playing D, crashing the boards, and getting putbacks at that point.

Iman shumpert is a starting quality guard? And anytime you can dump Jr Smith you do it, IMO. Knicks are bad and unloaded some money, good on them. Don't like the move for either Cleveland or OKC personally, I don't see how it helps them all that much.

I don't think he has played at 4 more than 10 minutes all year. Unless you are saying that when he plays with Kieff, Kieff is the 5 and Plumlee is the 4.

Trade your SG's, waive your starting center... Are they blowing up to rebuild?

Or is Dalembert injured? Is he better/more consistent than Plumlee at this point?

Could we get into play for a 3-team sending Carmelo out of NY, while we get our own Star, and the Knicks get picks and young prospects? (Absolutely NO, to get Melo for Phoenix, and triple NO, to send Len/Dragic out)

Shump and JR had to go. Clear the lockerroom, they weren't a part of the future. Move on with the young guys who will play hard and fans can root for. Get a top pick, add a good young player over the summer.

delambert is almost like having another len or plumlee, a shotblocker reboudner type. it's like having three starting pgs... do you think delambert will finally get the 4th qtr minutes that has eluded len and plumlee?

dont you want somebody different? a center who can shoot threes like frye or a center who can score in the post+interior passer like gasol or diaw?

oneal is a lowpost scorer while blatche is a three pt shooter.

I like Shumpert, but getting rid of JR Smith is priceless. Excellent move for New York.

I agree that OKC's acquisition of Waiters is a bit of a head-scratcher. Having Jackson, Westbrook, and Waiters in the same backcourt makes my stomach turn. All shaky shooters and high volume, ball-dominant scorers. Gross.

I basically just echoed what TOO said. Didn't see this post until after I posted mine.

I saw that coming. Kevin Love and a bunch of guys can lose to anyone, although I love that Blatt started Joe Harris (16 points, 4-8 3PT, 4 assists). I really liked him coming out of UVA.
