“Imagine we’re in the Super Bowl and we’re in overtime. You don’t walk off the field in overtime.”

Imagine you are in the Super Bowl and the other team scores a touchdown in overtime. Most teams would say the game is over and you walk off the field. She wants to stay on the field and complain that the refs must have been paid off by the apposing team while everyone else goes home.

It looks like Sen. Warnock (D) is on track to defeat Herschel Walker (R) in the Georgia Senate runoff today.

Except Sinema is now a Republican in Independent clothing. So much for Senate majority.

Sinema is an opportunistic fence sitter, seeing which way the wind blows.
Still leans a bit Democratic, but her ultimate allegiance is to herself.

I agree. All her donations come from large corporations now courting her vote.

She has gotten rich off of politics. The needs of the one outweigh the needs of the many.

She is just trying to play chicken with the Dems, to get them not to run a candidate against her. She'll be out in the next Senate election cycle. Dem voters in AZ will not accept her. And all of her attempts to seem like an "independent" or "maverick" will net her all of 3% of Republican votes imo.

She is burnt toast. She can’t possibly win as a Dem or a Con. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

A GOP Congressman-elect seems to have been caught fabricating almost everything about his life story.

Tulsi can go fuck herself, but this interview with Santos was actually pretty hard-hitting and didn't pull punches.

Not so much Wow that he is another serial lying politician. That is expected nowadays. More Wow that a FOX host would go after one of their own. Then again Tulsi is a new FOX host and an enigma.

It looks like there may be a battle today over whether Kevin McCarthy becomes House Speaker.
