Pistons over the Spurs tonight. 6-0 since they let go of Josh Smith.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

thank you.
:D

I knew you would appreciate that, sdc.

Gasol has been an absolute beast this year.
and the suns could have had him easily, but the FO is way too amateurish to get something like this done. hence my sig.
You wanted to give up Len and at least 1 first round pick to get Pau for 2 months.

You also wanted to trade Bledsoe, TJ Warren and more for Amare Stoudemire.

I'll live with our "amatuerish" front office.

2 months... or more.

i'd give up len to for the chance to become a top 5 nba team and make the case for frye to not opt out and stay with the suns.

what's the problem? the suns still have dragic, IT and ennis.

Anything under the max and the Spurs can consider themselves lucky. It doesn't matter if Kawhi can't carry a franchise on his own.

BTW, Lou Amundson got traded to the Knicks in that recent trade, and they're almost certain to waive him. Any interest?

I'm ok with him replacing the Shav, but I would like to keep that open roster spot. Though I never did see confirmation of Mitchell being waived.

If he can play at the same level as he did with his first tour of the Suns, I would vote yes.

The problem is that players age and lose their edge. So the guy you saw three-four years ago may have lost a step or two and some spring. Especially guys who are getting on in years, such as Jermaine O'Neal.
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Mozgov is heading to Cleveland from Denver for 2 first rounders. They will absorb him into their trade exception.

I'm honestly shocked a little bit that a guy whose name has been used as a verb to mean posterized netted 2 first rounders. Good for Denver. Otoh, Cleveland traded Waiters and a low 1st rounder (Memphis pick) for Shumpert, J.R. Smith and Mozgov. I suppose that isn't terrible. Though it depends on how you view Waiters and value late 1sts.

Mozgov was having a decent year: 8.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 51% from the field in 25 minutes, but man his 3-point FG% is just terrible.
