Game Day: Thunder (30-34) @ Suns (36-29), Wed 3/8/23
Re: Game Day: Thunder (30-34) @ Suns (36-29), Wed 3/8/23
The OKC announcers just said Lindy Waters is too good of a shooter to hit the side of the backboard on a shot.
So an undrafted player who spent all last year in the G League is incapable of such a poor shot?
I have now heard every single thing.

Always just feels icky when it comes to the Suns and their treatment from the refs. Has for years.
Love, Hurts.

Excellent point. Monty subs out Ayton for Ish, but leaves Booker, who has 30, in on a defensive series...

Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

To be fair, none of "fans" actually watched the game, they just stared at Lulu's dad bod the whole time.Wally_West wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 8:15 pmAfter the Mavs game, it was fucking hilarious seeing all the Mav fans cry on Reddit and Twitter about how the refs were favoring the suns all game![]()

For a guy considered to be a above average coach, he sure stinks at rotations and adjustments on the fly.LazarusLong wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 8:20 pmExcellent point. Monty subs out Ayton for Ish, but leaves Booker, who has 30, in on a defensive series...![]()

Refs only ones who can stop Book
Re: Game Day: Thunder (30-34) @ Suns (36-29), Wed 3/8/23
Monty leaving Book in with 2 fouls and 2 seconds left in the second was dumb.
Monty pulling him with 4 fouls is also dumb (unless he puts him back in the 3rd).

Refs gave Book more respect as a damn rookie than they do now. Wish Monty would just give in once and say a curse word at them and get their attention.

Non Lindy Waters Thunder players are shooting 29% from the field and 25% from 3

Chris Paul playing like he’s 35 again.

I’ve liked how Ayton has played tonight…I will say his usual contact averse play makes it hard to get calls…refs are accustomed to him avoiding contact…think that’s why he didn’t get that call.
Also Book doesn’t sell and seek out contact like the Luka, Harden, and Derozans of the world…that’s why he gets a bad whistle I think.
