If Shamet's shot looked like Ross' he'd get at least 40% less hate from Suns fans.

Holy shit book

Shamet doesn’t seem to get as streaky…he just consistently hits 4 of 11…he also doesn’t fire up heat checks.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 8:58 pmIf Shamet's shot looked like Ross' he'd get at least 40% less hate from Suns fans.
Ross would be great if he could just defend like Shamet though.

Book would’ve had 60 if he didn’t get in foul trouble and the game stayed close

Right. Just saying, Shamet's shot is one of the least aesthetically pleasing in the league for a "shooter". He could shoot the same percentage he does now but get more of a pass for missing if it didn't look like an incoming brick every time the ball left his hands..Split T wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 9:03 pmShamet doesn’t seem to get as streaky…he just consistently hits 4 of 11…he also doesn’t fire up heat checks.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 8:58 pmIf Shamet's shot looked like Ross' he'd get at least 40% less hate from Suns fans.

I agree.. because of his shot you kinda expect him to miss, where you expect Ross to make it. Both will miss more than they make, so some confirmation bias at workFlagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 9:11 pmRight. Was hoping to see TJ put up a handful of points in garbage time. Didn't even attempt a shot. Cmon dude.

OTOH, it's like finding spare change in the couch cushions every time Shamet hits a 3-pointer.Split T wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 9:17 pmI agree.. because of his shot you kinda expect him to miss, where you expect Ross to make it.
