Game Day: Kings (39-26) @ Suns (37-29), Sat 3/11/23

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (6:00 pm PT/9:00 pm ET)
Place: Footprint Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: BSAZ, NBALP

The division rival Sacramento Kings come to town Saturday night to take on the hot shooting Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns. Both teams are on a possible collision course in the Western Conference playoffs. Domantas Sabonis had a triple double in the Kings last outing and De'Aaron Fox is a handful. It would be a nice statement if we could beat them without Durant which is something we'll have to get used to for the foreseeable future.

Thanks for starting the thread Bone!

This could be a great opportunity for ayton to prove he’s better than Sabonis…. Someone needs to get Ayton angry early on so he can go super Sayan on sabonis.

Hope book keeps cooking tonight too!

I don't think the Kings are that good. But they do have a lot of 3-point shooting, and the Suns for some reason struggle staying home on shooters at the 3-point line. A win here would be awesome and would make it possible for us to be in reach of the 3 or even 2 seed. Big game.

We’re 2-0 against them with both games coming without KD…one even came after the trade, so essentially the same team we have now. Book had 32, Ayton dropped 29/11, CP3 had 17 and 19 assists, and Okogie chipped in 18 while going 3/4 from deep.

Gonna need Ayton to step back up now, certainly can't rely on old man Paul and Okogie.

They are trapping Book and he’s still finding a ways to score. 👀

Ayton has been gassed for the last two minutes.

This slobfest by the Kings announcers is uncomfortable.

Top 6th man, coach of the year, most versatile offensive C. It's still the first quarter.

We’re just playing sloppy after the hot start. We should have a 10pt lead right now
