He’s league MVP in my book…. Jokic is good, but feel Embiid is just a tad better this year.
Embiid is due. He's not overly aggressive like Ayton.
Yeah. Best player on the best team in the West. I get voter fatigue and wanting to give Embiid his flowers, but I don't think he's been better than Jokic.
Then by that logic, gimme Giannis.
Too aggressive like Ayton for you?
280lb flopper? Nah man.
Definitely an argument for Jokic…I just don’t want him to win. I think Giannis is the best 2-way player in the game, but I think Embiid is more likely to win
I agree with you.Split T wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 1:33 pmDefinitely an argument for Jokic…I just don’t want him to win. I think Giannis is the best 2-way player in the game, but I think Embiid is more likely to win
Same... Curious which way the voters will lean this year. I'm also curious how much weight is put into that players team record... If the MVP went to Jokic, Embiid or Giannis I don't think anyone would really complain with any one of them being the winner.TOO wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 1:40 pmI agree with you.Split T wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 1:33 pmDefinitely an argument for Jokic…I just don’t want him to win. Take it easy with the nuance. Some of us have a narrative to protect.Shabazz wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 4:49 pmThis board gets too upset by players who seek out contact while at the same time ragging on Ayton for avoiding it (which I do plenty of).
I think there’s a difference between Embiid/Giannis and Harden/Doncic. The first guys play with force. The others bait the refs.
