Tyrese Haliburton. James Jones’ biggest mistake.
I wish I could mark it 'liked' 100 times...
You like mistakes that much? Weird.

Let's be real. The biggest "what if" is using the only #1 pick in franchise history on the wrong player.
Well, if you mean winning the coin flip in 1969 and selecting Lew Alcindor, you're right.

Too bad none of us ever came up with the idea of picking up another quality point guard sometime over the last two seasons.....
Imagine how we'd be looking if we had Eric Gordon on the roster. Won't even talk about Halliburton.

Okay, hear me out on this. I am thinking that maybe we want to play Shamet instead of Payne at the point. Payne was awful in the past few games, chucking bad shots, not moving the ball well, playing bad panicky defense. I think he was a -16 in Game 2.

I think that even though Shamet has been bad at his shooting lately, it's no worse than Payne's. And Shamet's willingness to pass, his defense, and overall bbiq are better than Payne's. So I reluctantly think we should play Shamet more than Payne in Game 3. If we want a microwavey combo guard, let's play Lee.

That's funny. What if Shamet were to become the hero and take us to the promised land... Sorry, fell asleep for a moment there.

Payne just needs to get used to playing basketball again. He's shown he can fill in for CP3 in the playoffs before. Shamet has not.

I know I've lost people before on this train of thought, but I think I'd start Booker, Okogie, KD, Ayton, and Landale. Just go super big. Booker, Okogie, and KD can handle bringing the ball up the court well enough. I think Ayton is good enough at defending the perimeter and honestly, if he's just going to take 15-footers anyways, he can get those from the PF position. Let Landale and Bismack bother Jokic and take the early fouls. When Jokic sits, we could go small with Craig, maybe play some KD at the 5. Get Ross and TJ some minutes to spread out the offensive load.

Anyways, just my crazy idea that will probably never be implemented.

Not nearly enough shooting or spacing in that lineup.

Why tell Denver his strategy 24 hours ahead of time like that?

A bit different when the Suns never had the chance to take Kareem, but yeah, that’s obviously a big one.

Makes a more fair battle. Wouldn't be right to surprise them like that. Gotta win fair and square.

I didn't realize until I just looked it up that Montgomery is his middle name. His first name is Tavares.

It’s not exactly a surprise that someone new would get minutes.

I believe Monty also mentioned getting Ross more time after game 1 of the Clippers series and he hasn’t played since(except garbage time in game 1 vs Denver)
