We'd be far more competitive.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Does anybody know why Coach Monty has just abandoned Torrey Craig? He has his flaws, but he had several big scoring games in the Clippers series. Now he's just gone, almost completely vanished from the rotation. Craig's a better shooter than Okogie. Why isn't he getting any minutes?

Good question.

My guess is that Monty thought he needed more size against the Clippers and now he thinks he needs more speed against the Nuggets.

Yeah, Torrey has good size, a good rebounder, good shooter. I'm not sure why he went so far away from him. Probably all his minutes got taken by Ross and TJ, cause you know he wasn't going to take any from Shamet.

I’m so confused. I’ve never seen something so misrepresented before. Does nobody know what a rib injury is like? I can’t even imagine having that happen at high altitude too.

And is it just me or does it look like Devin is yelling at Durant on the bench for most of that, not DA??

I think he's just yelling it out loud so it doesn't look like he's ripping any one in particular in front of the cameras. Most of us know who the message is intended for.

You see what you want to see man. There isn’t much ambiguity when it comes to Ayton.

I don’t get it. Do people really think he’s faking the injury?

If it's not an injury it's lack of involvement and bad coaching or it's altitude or it's lack of respect by the officials that takes him out of his game due to fouls or it's all of us not seeing how great he's playing and creating a false narrative or it's....

Dude got paid the max. The excuse during the regular season was that he'd turn it on during the playoffs. Time to nut the fuck up and show something out there. I've had it.

Pretty much this. It's incredible that it's always someone/thing else's fault, never the overpaid man baby. Didn't wanna pay him, pissed when we did, now I can't wait til he's gone.

It’s pretty convenient for his “injury” to happen when he’s being railed by EVERYONE for his poor effort. Maybe if he gave 100% effort all the time, we wouldn’t be questioning him fawning an injury.

I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic or not, but it’s pretty obvious in the clip in the tweet I was responding to.

Ya I remember it happening…not sure why we didn’t call a timeout to get Ayton out. He didn’t come down on offense and we played 4 on 5(Shamet ran into a wall of defenders and missed). Then while he was down on defense, he was useless and we gave up a wide open 3. Then we called a timeout. Should’ve just called it when he got hurt

Agree 100%. It felt like very poor coaching during that sequence. It probably made Ayton feel like we didn't give a shit about his health or him getting hurt and it also led to a disadvantage on offense and then defense for us.
