I'd hate to see him go but I'd be willing to part with Cam Payne for the 2nd pick.

Charlotte has 27, 34, 39 and 41 so they have the picks to spare.

Getting a 3rd team involved with cap space would help a ton, but 3 team deals are always tricky.

You could also add Shamet/Morris to the deal and end up with

Morris/Booker/Kuzma/KD/Gafford

I'm curious why so many here aren't interested in Collins?

Poor defender, lazy, whiney, plays smaller than he is. We already have one of those.

He’s a tweener, too small to be a full time C and not mobile enough to defend on the perimeter. His shooting regressed a lot this year. He’d have to play the 4 and that pushes KD to the 3 and you still need a 5.

He supposedly messed up the ring finger on his shooting hand in some irreparable way and ever since then, his shot has been really rough.

Look it up. It’s gross.

I would definitely prefer Kuzma to Collins, but I'm not as down on Collins as it seems most of you are. The $75Mish left on his contract is the part that gives me the most pause.

Thanks all for the Collins feedback. I don't follow him too closely but he sometimes impresses when we play the Hawks.

I think this is the reality that many of us were expecting. Other teams weren't exactly knocking the door down to sign him last year and the only team that did show interest seems to have cooled on him now.

I think I'd rather keep him and hope that Vogel can get the best out of him than trade him for a bunch of role players that won't move the needle.

I said he'd have one of the worst contracts in the league as soon as he signed it.

Now, it's not Ben Simmons level of a toxic asset, but it's pretty damn clear no one is really eager to give up anything of value to have a non-All-Star Center on a max salary.

I don't even think the Pacers wanted him last summer, they were just doing his agent a solid knowing we would match the lower max offer.

Yes, there was some agent favor/strong arming in that deal. Really unfortunate for the Suns to have to get the shot end of the #1 pick twice.

Why would the Suns go after Beal? Book, KD, Beal would eat up almost the whole salary cap.

Kuzma and Beal = Ayton and Cp3 cap wise.

Maybe, just maybe our new owner is all about spending and deep pockets in order to get us that championship... Just nuts compared to what we came from.
