Game Day: Lakers (12-29) @ Suns (24-18), Mon 1/19/15

Post by Superbone »

Time: 8:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: US Airways Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: TNT

The last of the "easy" home games before we start the final 5 games of the home stand against teams all with winning records. Kobe is sitting this one out which honestly makes them a more dangerous team. I still think we'll take it in convincing fashion.

Go Suns!!!

Did you see Kobe have 17 assists the other night? He can still be dangerous on the court. Though with him out Swaggy P will shoot it 25 times. That is never a bad thing.

I don't think the Lakers are more dangerous without Kobe. I think he had actually gotten himself to play in a way that was genuinely helping them. His FG% was atrocious, but he was acting as a much more willing passer than in the past. Overall I think they're better with him than without, but either way, we are far superior to these guys and should blow them out.

And those of you like me that have their DVDs set to record all the games automatically on FOX Sport AZ should note that it's on TNT. Do 't be like forgetful Nodack and automatically think it will record. I am on my game today, but usually miss o e or two games a year that way.

Suns 119
Lakers 104
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

"Part of their strategy to preserve Kobe Bryant." And their draft pick.

very fortunate to be tied at halftime. Bledsoe and the Morii seem to be taking the night off.

Not much offense outside of Dragic and Thomas.
