Yeah, I agree. I wouldn't be able to concentrate were it me.
Everyone deals with stress in different ways. For me, the court was my sanctuary. When stress was going on in my life, I could go to the park and clear my mind. Maybe that's the difference, idk.
Funny, I'm the same. I used to say that life makes a lot more sense when you're shooting a ball trough a hoop.

But it's obviously something that don't apply to all people and all things. I'm a musician, and I play like shit if something is troubling me.

A musician huh? Me too. Did we have this conversation before on the old site? I can't remember.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

Bulls get: Michael Carter Williams, PJ Tucker, Miles Plumlee.

76rs get: IT3, Archie Goodwin, Tony Snell/Etawn Moore, lottery protected 1st from Suns.

Suns get: Mirotic, one of the many 2ndR hoarded by Hinkie.
R_W: I think the Suns could land Mirotic with a package of just Tucker, Plumlee, and possibly the draft rights Bogdan Bogdanovic.

INF: I think the Bulls are well aware of how good Mirotic is and would be very unlikely to accept a puu-puu platter deal like that for him.

I agree. I wouldn't touch that offer if I were them.

That's why he's averaging 11.5 mpg in the last 5 games? They know they're suffering at the defensive end, the team isn't playing with the toughness and intensity that has been it's calling card for so long, and they're trying to win a championship right now. With Gibson, Gasol, and Noah in the frontcourt, I definitely think they consider that deal.

I can't remember either, Dack. I'm a singer and guitar player. I own a music school, also.

The are struggling, that's true, but if I intend to move Mirotic, before downgrading I try to get a high level starter at SF. PJ is a good 3D role player, and Miles could fill Mirotic's place in their rotation, but even with a pick, it is too low of a return for a guy with the talent of Mirotic.

Btw, this is why I put MCW in the scenario I posted, so the Bulls could look at the talent back and not feel robbed. Since there are already rumblings about MCW not being happy in Philly and also the 76rs willing to move him, I thought IT3 would fit well as the best scorer on that roster, sort of a poor man Iverson (which is what he basically is) while they also net draft stock and kids.

If you're looking for a defensive 3, it doesn't get much better than PJ. And on a good contract, as well. Adding Bogdanovic might make it a possibility - I think he has value. Interesting proposal. I can't speak for the Bulls, but I'd do it, of course.

I think your reasoning is definitely sound, I just don't think the Bulls front office has your perception or ideology.

I don't think the Bulls held on to his draft rights for years (all the while rejecting offers for them) and then brought him over for ~the mid-level just so they could swap him for Tucker, Plumlee and Bogdan. That's a poor return.

I also don't think they were expecting a seasoned European superstar to come over and only give them 7 ppg on 40% shooting.

He's better than his numbers. They love him. They struggle a bit to find minutes for him, but that's partly Thibs being stingy about using his bench. I do think they understand his value and are not interested in dumping him for middling offers like the one posted in this thread.

Teams in win-now mode do things middle of the pack teams wouldn't.

INF -- I'm with you here. I think that the Suns would have to sweeten the offer a bit, but Tucker + Plumlee + rights to Bogdanovic + Green (?) would look awfully good to a team looking to win now. If they want "potential" then throw in a higher draft pick (not the LAL pick) instead of Bogdanovic.

This looks like exactly the kind of trade that McD/Babby would be looking for. A many-for-one consolidation that brings in a potential star. Let Mirotic and Kieff fight to see who starts and who is sixth man.

still doesnt solve the 3 point guard mess the suns have.

That's true, and certainly everything is possible, but if you were the Bulls would you take that offer? Even under contending approach, I think you shop Mirotic around and you can find better win now packages without much difficulty, especially since the Bulls have other pieces to make bigger deals work, like Dunleavy jr, small contracts and picks.

I believe they'd be really interested in Green, though.
