I have been enjoying Winning Time the Lakers story. As much as I hate the Lakers it was very entertaining and educational.

They kind of wrapped it up in the last episode. What a great story.

Somebody else just recommended it to me today. Guess I'll have to watch.

I really enjoy Winning Time, and I'm not sure why exactly they are cancelling it. Feels like more of the story could still be played out(although I admit I haven't seen the last episode yet).

It must not have been a big hit outside of L.A.

I watched the first episode tonight. Wow, they really lay into Jerry West. I had read he wasn’t happy about his portrayal but there’s got to be some truth there, I’d think.

His rubber band is wound extra tight. No one was as tortured by Boston as him. The outcome of the show has already been determined by history so there is no worry really of spoilers.

It was very interesting to see how Buss changed the game and how close he came to disaster and ruin.

I started watching a South Korean thriller last night and couldn't stop. It's on Paramount+ and it's called Bargain. I mean, I finally did half way through the 6 episode series late into the night. Will finish today.

I ended up watching the whole 2 season series. The West character actually grows on you over the course of the series. Adrien Brody was excellent as Pat Riley.

I just watched the season end of Daryl. I enjoyed it. A different twist on Walking Dead being based out of France and all.

I quit a couple seasons after Glen played t-ball practice for negan and honestly almost quit there. Was great earlier on but just lost its luster.

I get it. I watched all the series and they did the Star Trek thing making a bunch of spinoffs. You can’t oversaturate the market, especially when you have 2-3 different series going on at the same time. The Beyond one was the worst. Tales From the Walking Dead was weird but kind of funny. It seems like they run out of things to keep it fresh. Every new season gets a new evil bad guy to be scared of. Walking Dead ended. Fear the Walking Dead is about to start their final season. I didn’t see the New York spin off at all yet. Than this Daryl Dixon one. They introduce Carol back next season on Daryl. I saw an ad for a new Rick and Machone series coming out in February. Over saturation.

The Daryl one was kind of fresh for me. The writing, scenery. Added religion and politics to the mix.

Yea... Darryl (and his other brother Darryl...if you get the reference... kudos), Michone, Rick, Carol, Negan and Maggie are the best parts remaining of the OG cast. Just feels like they're diluting a product that overstayed its welcome. If you think back to the end of season 1... to where it was say season 9. You'd think we'd have some resolve to things... Then again I haven't seen the last 2-3 seasons so maybe they did.

Now Star Trek... I thought with the new rebooted one with "Discovery" was really good the first 2 seasons then kinda jumped the shark in season 3 and lost me. "Strange New Worlds" first season was fantastic and have yet to watch the second season.

Did you watch Discovery season 2? It's basically the prologue to Strange New Worlds. Such a great season.

If you like really clever sci-fi/time travel... There's a series on netflix called "Dark" that's english dubbed (it's only downfall... but it's done really well) that's really well written.
