It just surprised me Nurkic was top 10…I wouldn’t have expected anyone defensively. Booker is 4th overall and KD 10th overall by the way
Yeah, asking where the highest Suns player is ranked in DEPM would've been a much more difficult question. I wouldn't have guessed top 10.

I'm all for hating on the Lakers, but this ain't it. Reaves easily clears Gordon this season.

I've been happy with EG this year, especially with how much we've had to rely on him. Reminds me of when we signed Mario Elie to backup Penny and he ended up starting most of the year because Penny played like 2 games. Hopefully Beal plays more than Penny did and EG can go back to being a depth piece.

His spacing is fantastic and he'll randomly make a great defensive play, but he's so damn slow and completely allergic to rebounding which is a huge issue for this team. I'm in a love-hate relationship with him.

He has too much Josh Jackson-ism when he drives to basket if you ask me. Puts his head down, ignores his teammates, and forces a bad layup around 3 defenders. He is good if he doesn't try to do too much. I've been a little disappointed in him, but he's good if you consider he is at the minimum.

I think we’ve had to ask him to do more than we wanted to. He’s a secondary playmaker type and we’ve asked him to be our primary playmaker in half our games due to injuries. 14 points, 3 assists and 38% shooting from 3 on high volume is a great return on a minimum level player. I can’t imagine there’s many(if any) minimum players providing more production.

I've noticed Gordon and Allen recently do a thing defensively where they kind of lean back when defending a dribble drive and swipe the ball when the offensive player picks it up for their gather. That's a really tough move to pull off without fouling, and a much more respectable strategy than flopping on contact.

Gordon is a great bench player who can get you 10+ points in limited minutes. But we've been playing him as a starter, and in that role he's less effective. The 14 ppg is still quite nice, though. I appreciate his 3-point shooting. But yeah, when he's driving to the basket or doing anything on defense, the results are iffy.

I don't get the Gordon hate. It's a blessing we have this guy (consecutive awful 4Q turnovers tonight notwithstanding).

Slow down. I don't hate the guy (all the time lol) and especially not at the salary he's signed for this season. I get frustrated with his inability to move or jump. It's some of same stuff that bothered me about Chris Paul last year.

Yeah, I don't hate him at all... Especially at the minimum. As others have said, he's been forced into a primary playmaker role that he's just not good at, and that frustrates me at times. Suns dint win without him tonight.

Don’t look now, but Gordon is now up to 40% from 3…joining Book and Grayson. KD over 50%. Yuta is at 38% and Goodwin is up to 36%. Little bumped up to 33%…now we need to get Nurkic and Okogie to make some. KBD as well. They are all under 30%

Isn't Metu shooting 6-8 from 3 so far this season(I know it's a small sample size)?

He was 0-5 before going 2-2 last night, so he’s 2-7 now.

Oof, thanks! I thought I heard someone say that on the broadcast last night, but I must have been mistaken.

Game winner. What a yumm.. I mean, talented basketball player! It's a good thing the water heater is broken at our house because I need another shower.
