Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
I'm a huge fan of bringing in Fontecchio. He's a kind of a bigger Okogie. His shot is a little erratic even though the numbers are a bit better. I love that he plays hard and his size enables him to finish around the rim better than Okogie.
I don't know about his contract and the Suns leverage to keep him around. That could be a problem.
The downside is dealing with Danny Ainge, so don't get your hopes up because the Suns don't have much to part with.

Ya he’d be great. He’d be what we thought we were getting with Yuta

I think he's more of what I though we'd get from Nas. Potato, potahto.
I suppose that's also a reason to be cautious of his playoff impact.

Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
I think it's safe to say the Miles Bridges stuff is dead if were hearing Fontecchio rumors. I suspected it when Bridges started playing really well during the last couple of weeks despite the media noise. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised, but I doubt it.
The Suns current circumstance is reminiscent of the peak SSOL era when every team knew we were an auxiliary piece away from being the favorites. The difference is Bob Sarver was worried about revenue, but now Ishbia is cornered by the CBA.

Why couldn’t they wait even 2 years for the dumb 2nd apron stuff. We would’ve got a championship

Rich guys who don't want to sell their team are upset other richer guys are buying in and are more willing to buy a ring.

Would love Olynyk
Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
I don’t think we can afford him
Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
Suns can't afford anyone. Nice to dream though. Gives us something to do.
Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
So much for that one. I would have given a second!

Kevin Knox is in the deal too going to Utah.
Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
Detroit had much better 2nds to give than we did
Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
I have a sinking feeling we will have to go back to Charlotte and meet their demands on Bridges. We’re gonna get outbid on anyone else who’s got real value.
