And while I'm at it:

Phoenix receives: Thomas Robinson, Meyers Leonard, Markel Brown
Brooklyn receives: Markieff Morris, Marcus Morris, and Dorrell Wright
Portland receives: Kevin Garnett and Reggie Bullock

Kanter/Len and Exum/Dragic puts us in far superior spot than we are now. Bigger inside and out, and Dragic gets to play the PG spot where he belongs. Offloading Bledsoe's contract opens up money for Dragic and Kanter. Exum, while still very green would give us something closer to an NBA player than Archie. This is a no brainer for me.

I would switch Bullock for Goodwin but overall I liked this.

I'd do it in a second. I'd love to get Markel Brown, Nick Johnson, and Dante Exum together. That's a 3-guard lineup I think would be absolutely devastating in the future. Robinson is an expiring contract, thus cap relief, and I'd like to see Leonard play next to Len.

But I must admit, I would ultimately prefer to do this:

Phoenix receives: Noah Vonleh, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute
Charlotte receives: Marcus Morris, Markieff Morris, Andrei Kirilenko
Philadelphia receives: Marvin Williams, Cody Zeller, and Reggie Bullock

Don't think we have had Wright long enough to package him with players in a trade.

Bledsoe for Avery Bradley, Kelly Olynyk, the higher of our 2015 firsts, and the cavs 2016 first.
Saw that over on realgm from a Celtic fan. I would take that in a heart beat. Am I insane? I haven't watched Olynyk much but unless his defense is atrocious I think that is a really good move.

A 24 year old 7 footer who is hitting the three at a 35% rate. Grabbing five and a half boards in twenty five minutes of playing time.

TOR: Morris, Morris, Plumlee
UTA: TOR 1st, expirings or Vasquez
PHX: Ross, Kanter

We could also throw Ennis some direction or other to make people happy.

Then Dragic to IND or HOU for a 1st

Bledsoe/Thomas/
Ross/Goodwin/Bullock
Tucker/Warren
Kanter/Patterson
Len/Wright/Stiemsma

The more I look at it and I think it would be a steal with those draft picks. It is a shame the guy that posted it isn't Ainge. :)

This is not necessarily directed at OE32, because a lot of posters have done this over the years, but what is up with the obsession of trying to turn players that are clearly Cs into PFs? Kanter is not a PF. Plumlee could never play PF. Ditto with Len. These guys are Cs, let them play like Cs.

The twin towers were a once in a lifetime thing. Sampson & Olajuwon are never going to happen again.

What if one of the towers is a jumpshooter with 3pt range?

I don't think they have to be limited to just C and center time. You want to gain some other skill sets to maximize the amount of talent on the floor. Other than spacing, if you can defend PFs, why couldn't you have more than one center on the floor at the same time?

I thought Robinson and Duncan were a fairly effective duo. ZBo and Gasol do alright. Gasol bros play well together for Spain. Gasol and Bynum were decent. ect...

If Len keeps building his skill set, he could play with another center.

No offense taken :) I'm looking for a bruiser. Kanter is also developing 3 point range. He also gets points and rebounds, the two things we need. Maybe he can't guard stretch 4's. Perhaps I simply haven't watched enough of him. I'm not obsessed with putting two C's together as much as I'm looking at limited options. But point taken.

I don't see many available bigs who can get us "points and rebounds." Kanter I thought was close. Do you see what McD sees? Or are we just talking about Brandon Bass?

If you're talking about someone like Channing Frye, I wouldn't call him a pure C. He can play PF too.

Robinson-Duncan is another famous Twin Towers with two guys who can play C, but one of whom is just as comfortable at PF. Carey is talking about lineups with two pure Cs.

Wikipedia says Kanter plays PF as well. So, there's that.

Ha! I'm not talking about Frye. I wouldn't ever call him a tower. But Len seems much more comfortable launching jumpshots than banging in the paint, offensively. It wouldn't surprise me if he developed a reliable shot, and with his agility, he could guard some PFs and allow another big body to play in the paint.
