Brown and White can get into the paint anytime they want and the Suns aren't taking advantage of the rare defensive stop.

Our defense to start the 4th is terrible. This 4th quarter ridiculousness needs to stop.

If we can keep it within striking distance going into the 4th, I think we celts will have a terrible 4th and we win.
What a dumbass this guy

3pt shooting is the difference. Royce and Grayson are combined 1-10. Royce finally just hit one so maybe that gets him going.

EG sucks.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

The game was there for the taking. Just missed to many open shots. Beal should’ve shooting instead of making dumbass passes.

The Celts are good but not unbeatable. Wish we would've gone to Beal more down the stretch. Instead it was Royce on the strong side and he's not a threat to attack off the dribble. 3s weren't falling, Cs defense forced us to scramble too much on offense and they broke us down with dribble penetration.

Too many guys haven't contributed tonight - O'Neale, Allen, almost all of the bench - you need more than Beal, Durant and Nurkic to beat the Celtics.

Also, Saben Lee should not be seeing minutes against contenders. He’s a cute player that hustles and has the nice play once in a while. Game like this we really miss Okogie and Lee.

Saben can't be out there. Might have to give Okogie a look.

At least we were only outscored by 1 in the 4th. That’s something…maybe… :|

Yeah, if guys like Allen and O'Neale had hit their 3s at their usual clip, we could have won this game. Or if we had Book. Celtics were surprisingly beatable just as you said. KD had a heroic game but it wasn't enough. I thought we played at least 2-3 guys who looked like they had no business being out there: Roddy, Saben Lee, and Eric Gordon. I like EG in the rotation but he has just been ass for a long while now. And Lee has to spend all summer fixing his broken ass shot.

Derrick White was the guy who impressed me the most on the Celtics. What a luxury to have a role player like that who does so many little things. I also liked their big white stiff center, #40.

I think they decided to man up and not double and KD went off but, it wasn’t enough. Royce got several looks and failed. Allen was covered. He shot an open 3 from Mesa but it didn’t go down. Bol Bol continues to impress on offense.

I consider it par. Celtics, winners of 11 in a row, beat the warriors by 50 and then lose two in a row going into this game? They were hungry and on National TV. The Suns are slowly getting better. I saw the defense stats on the Suns season they put up and the Suns have steadily improved their D from 30th to 7th in the league over the season. Still the big three only getting limited time together as we wind down the final month. Still, no major injuries aside from Damien Lee. It is looking like he won’t make it back this year.

1 month ago - Head coach Frank Vogel said Monday that Lee (knee) has yet to resume on-court work, but the Suns remain hopeful that the 31-year-old will play before the end of the regular season, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports. "On track," Vogel said, in reference to Lee's recovery from the meniscus surgery he underwent in October. "Hopefully at some point towards the end of the regular season we can start talking about where he's at in terms of getting back on the floor."

That doesn’t sound that hopeful to me.

Ya I’d be surprised if Lee plays a role this year on the court. Might get into some garbage time at the end, but he won’t be in the rotation ever.

Missed the game tonight. Wasn’t expecting a win…looks like KD and Beal played well. KD played really well. Good to see. Hopefully Book is back for the next game.
