I can’t believe McDonough kept his job as long as he did. Chriss, Bender Jackson, etc, etc. He failed miserably over and over in the draft.

At the very least, I think Denver/Dallas in round 2 will be the decider. I can’t see Minny or OKC winning the west. Clearly we won’t.
If the Clippers could find whatever magic they had going when they went like 25-6 over a stretch in the middle of the season, but they are also banged up.
Boston feels like they should cake walk to the finals…Philly feels like the only team that could give them any sort of challenge and they might have to come out the play-in.

He might have done better if he just randomly picked a name out of hat in most of the drafts.SunsRIt wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 1:07 pmI can’t believe McDonough kept his job as long as he did. Chriss, Bender Jackson, etc, etc. He failed miserably over and over in the draft.

That's alright, at least he's good enough to back up his shit talk, unlike the guys we root for.
Even still, I think PG might be my least favorite player ever, fuck that guy.
Re: Around the NBA: Week 25 (4/8 - 4/14)
Yep, PG is up there. And I'm sure I'd be a big fan of Luka if we had drafted him instead of the other guy.TOO wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 2:03 pmThat's alright, at least he's good enough to back up his shit talk, unlike the guys we root for.

I won't make my final prediction until the matchups are finalized, but don't sleep on OKC. And the defending champ Nuggets might have a thing or two to say. The West this year should be an interesting playoff bracket. The East seems more clear-cut to me. Why wouldn't the Celtics come out of their side?

Because they would lose a series.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 4:21 pmI won't make my final prediction until the matchups are finalized, but don't sleep on OKC. I still don’t see it with the Thunder…they would likely smoke us for sure, but I think Dallas or Denver makes quick work of them. I also think the Lakers are a nightmare matchup for them. They are like us where they would need the right matchups. If they got say Sacramento round 1 and then us round 2 they could make the WCF. But if they get the Lakers round 1? I’m picking the Lakers.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 4:21 pmI won't make my final prediction until the matchups are finalized, but don't sleep on OKC. I don’t know between Wolves and Thunder…I think it would come down to who steps up more between Ant or SGA. That would be a fun series, but I doubt it happens. Think both are decent bets to lose round 1.

Pels are currently up 34-11 over the Kings.

64-58 at the half. It’s a game after all.

The Kings and Suns are made for each other.

Nope. Not even a couple chicken wings could help us.

The Kings will be in the 9-10 bracket I’m afraid…we’re going to have to beat the Lakers or Warriors…

Pels do still have Lakers and Warriors left…decent chance they slip up and leave the door open at 6
Re: Around the NBA: Week 25 (4/8 - 4/14)
If I'm not mistaken, the Dubs and Lakers are both already locked in the play-in, not sure they have any reason to go all out to win.
Re: Around the NBA: Week 25 (4/8 - 4/14)
They definitely do…they can both still get into the 7-8 bracket which is much better than 9-10

Re: Around the NBA: Week 25 (4/8 - 4/14)
Part me wonders if they already checked out of the regular season. I read that we can’t be any worst than 8 and after the clippers loss, we are most likely to be in the 7 vs 8 matchup anyways, so who cares if you're 7 or 8 in that case, home court is nice but it’s still a one game eliminator regardless.
