Watching the Kings - Warriors game and I think Alex Len wouldn't be a bad backup big for us. He's sort of a very poor man's version of Nurkic... Plays more under control than Eubanks and passes well. Not sure how things work with the second apron, but I wouldn't mind seeing him back in a Suns uniform cheaply backing up Nurk next year.
Re: 2024 Playoffs: Around the League Round 1 News Thread
It's almost sad how pathetic the Warriors have become and how far some of their stars have fallen. Klay Thompson zero points in a must-win game, and Chris Paul 3 points and 2 assists. Yikes.

Both them dudes gone. It’ll be interesting to see where they go. I have a hard time believing any contending team will pay Paul more than the minimum. I think Klay could get the MLE somewhere although he seems just as washed.

I think Klay still has something left. Getting out of his safe space with the Warriors should help him better adapt to his limitations.
I'd rather have him than Eric Gordon next season.

The Kings were 0-5 against the Pelicans this season and only one of those losses was by fewer than 10 points.

LMAO at Nurkic for this. Presumably directed at Draymond. I love when players talk trash.

I was harsh when I said Klay was washed like CP lol, I think my main point is I just wouldn’t pay any significant money for him. MLE is more than fair, maybe an 2 year deal in the 15-18 deal range if you’re up and coming team looking to add some veteran presence. Any team willing to pay him 25-30 plus is fucking bananas. Warriors tax situation is pretty fucked, makes the most sense to let Klay and CP3 come off the books completely. Podz and Moody seem ready to take all those minutes anyways.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 10:23 pmI think Klay still has something left. I'd be cautious at anything more than half the MLE on a contender.Wally_West wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 11:01 pmI was harsh when I said Klay was washed like CP lol, I think my main point is I just wouldn’t pay any significant money for him. And Booker would never air someone out on social media like that.
Well, maybe Jose Alvarado.

Absolutely, I was thinking of a team like the Magic. A young and promising team that could use some veteran presence. Although it takes one dummy. I could see the sixers try and get him with all the cap space they will have.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 11:05 pmI'd be cautious at anything more than half the MLE on a contender.Wally_West wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 11:01 pmI was harsh when I said Klay was washed like CP lol, I think my main point is I just wouldn’t pay any significant money for him.
