Well, that's dumb cause it broke about 10000000 posts. I'm sure our dear leader will get it fixed soon, right? :pCap wrote:Now you have to use the mobile URL to make it work.

It's called a side effect. Mori will fix it. That wasn't his intent.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.
Re: Around the League: Week 17 2/16-2/22
Sorry, I had to run to some work stuff. I'm aware that it is broken and I will fix it asap.

The W's ball movement is so pretty. They are putting on a show for S.A. that is no slouch in that department either.

Gotta feel bad for Bosh. I hope he's just out this season and can make a full return.
Re: Around the League: Week 17 2/16-2/22
Currently watching Pels-Heat & enjoying seeing Goran hand the ball off to Wade and run to the corner.

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to LA tbh.

14 points in the 1st for the Heat. They look bad. Davis injured again. Same shoulder.

Grass isn't greener. Remember, Shawn was unhappy and we traded him to Miami and his game nosedived (in Toronto too) because it's a slower game. Ddin't get right until he got to Dallas. Could be the same in Miami with Spo running a slower system and more prone to calling out plays.
Re: Around the League: Week 17 2/16-2/22
Miami getting blown out.
Re: Around the League: Week 17 2/16-2/22
Dragic warming up, 7 points...didn't his patented spin, pivot and teardop in the lane on the last play. He doesn't look happy, looks mad. I also don't think it's a given he stays in Miami.
Re: Around the League: Week 17 2/16-2/22
okc is now so deep, they dont need durant and adams anymore

Re: Around the League: Week 17 2/16-2/22
dragic will have to play more off the ball with miami because wade is a mediocre outside shooter (30% 3pt, 74% FT)carey wrote:Currently watching Pels-Heat & enjoying seeing Goran hand the ball off to Wade and run to the corner.
Re: Around the League: Week 17 2/16-2/22
you want the ball in dragic's hands because he is good at scoring off the dribble and attacking the basket (50% FG). Problem for dragic is that wade is just as good (48% FG) in that area and terrible at spot up shooting (see relevant stats above).
the dragic-wade combo is not a good outside shooting teamup. and without bosh, miami may have to go small to add one additional outside shooter (should be chalmbers but he's having an off year beyond the 3pt line).
on offense it should be dragic at PG, chalmers (or somebody else) standing in the corner, dwyane wade as the scoring sf, deng as undersized pf and whiteside at center.

Re: Around the League: Week 17 2/16-2/22
I agree with you that Dragic-Wade is not a perfect combo because of Wade's bad outside shooting. Man, if Wade had become a great outside shooter, can you imagine how dominant he would have been? He's already one of history's better shooting guards, and that's with a horrible outside touch.SDC wrote:you want the ball in dragic's hands because he is good at scoring off the dribble and attacking the basket (50% FG). I don't really agree that Wade should slide over to SF. That'd be a waste of Deng and an unnecessary start for a marginal PG such as Chalmers.
Re: Around the League: Week 17 2/16-2/22
the ball should have been in dragic's hands more (50%FG, higher bball iq) during his suns stint over bledsoe 45%FG. both are shooting the ball poorly at the 3pt line this year (dragic 35%, bledsoe 33%) but you can still see bledsoe is the better outside shooter when left uncontested ( 82% FT to dragic's 74% FT).
knight is a better fit for bledsoe (standing at the corner) because of his high outside shooting percentages (40% on threes, 88% on FT/midrange). same with green. archie would be a terrible backcourt mate for bledsoe unless archie is the one handling the ball and eric spots up in the corner (and we know that is not going to happen).

wade gets most of his baskets dragic-style (by attacking the basket and being efficient at scoring contested shots).Mori Chu wrote:I agree with you that Dragic-Wade is not a perfect combo because of Wade's bad outside shooting. Re: Around the League: Week 17 2/16-2/22
miami needs an outside shooter and dragic is just average.
Re: Around the League: Week 17 2/16-2/22
How anyone can think Dragic is better than Westbrook is beyond me.
