2025 NBA Playoffs
Re: 2025 NBA Playoffs
Insane comeback by indiana... Refs were HORRIBLE. Missed so many calls and felt pretty one sided towards the knicks in the fourth quarter.
Re: 2025 NBA Playoffs
Knicks were bad down the stretch in overtime - poor D and overly reliant on Brunson. Great win by the Pacers.

Re: 2025 NBA Playoffs
one of the best playoff games I remember watching.
Re: 2025 NBA Playoffs
Felt like they ran outta gas, whereas the Pacers just keep throwing bodies at you.
Love, Hurts.
Re: 2025 NBA Playoffs
That basically cost them the game. Chris Paul would have killed him if he was on the team.Kryptonic wrote: ↑Wed May 21, 2025 7:27 pmI'll admit... JeremyG was right about Cam Payne and how we should have kept him. I honestly thought the guy was going to regress but he's actually been half way decent.
Definitely some serious "chucking" going on in the 4th quarter... KAT throwing up a mad airball from 4 feet behind the arc. SMH.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

That’s insane.
Re: 2025 NBA Playoffs
The comeback was really nuts. I just about turned the game off, Indy was behind by so much so late. I was giving my kids the bath and I hear the announcer say that Indiana is within 5 and I go watch and then somehow they pull it off. Pretty crazy stuff. I was just thinking earlier in the game to myself that Haliburton, though awesome, kind of chucks up crazy long shots late in games and that I don't always like his selection. But how can you blame the guy when he drains huge clutch shots like the one last night?
I actually like all four of the remaining teams and will be happy for any of them to win a title. But I think I'm pulling hardest for Indy. They have such a likeable bunch, and Haliburton is the man.

We think the Suns are bad not drafting Hali but how about the Kings who drafted him and then traded him away!

Re: 2025 NBA Playoffs
They knew what he was and what he could do. And then they inexplicably traded him and bet on another PG who was not nearly as good, who is now gone anyway. What a fail. Shades of the Dragic / Bledsoe / IT fiasco, with some differences.
Re: 2025 NBA Playoffs
Well they traded him for Sabonis who has been an all-star level player for them…
So Haliburton turned into Sabonis
We drafted Jalen Smith who turned into Torrey Craig…ours is way worse.

Re: 2025 NBA Playoffs
It was a huge mistake to draft Jalen Smith over Haliburton. But every year there are players who get passed on in the draft who turn out to be excellent. And you can always point to all the teams that failed to see that and didn't draft the player. Giannis was the 15th pick, Jokic was the 41st pick, etc. A lot of us here wanted Hali but we could not be certain that he would be a great NBA player; we just had an intuition or opinion. Sacramento got to see him play for multiple years and really have no excuse for failing to see the star they had in their hands.

The point is they traded him for another star. Ya Haliburton is better than Sabonis, but they weren’t left with nothing like we were.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Thu May 22, 2025 12:37 pmIt was a huge mistake to draft Jalen Smith over Haliburton. Lots of misses there…shouldn’t have drafted him, but we also shouldn’t have declined his option

Isn't it sad that Tumari is the biggest star of the Ayton trade?
