One day, it will be ours. Oh, yes. One day...Kryptonic wrote: ↑Fri Jun 20, 2025 6:59 amWhy? If the goal is a championship, keeping him does nothing towards getting there. I don’t get valuing one guy over the whole franchise. I don’t disagree they’ll botch the rebuild because nothing they’ve done so far has assured us any confidence.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Fri Jun 20, 2025 6:35 amWhat I keep coming around to with Booker is, maybe if we had a really savvy GM and front office that could rebuild our team around draft picks, then okay, trade Book to Houston for our own draft picks back and start the process. But this FO is a bunch of incompetent boobs. If they trade away Booker they'll almost certainly botch the rebuild. Why do I want to watch that? I'm content to keep Book here a bit longer and enjoy him while I still can, before this ownership ruins him too.
I guess if you’re content with watching Booker play and continue going nowhere then fine but I’d love to see a parade one day.

No way this team was fighting in the locker room, they couldn't even care enough to try, no shot

I heard they were making a collage and got into a fight over what materials to use. They all wanted something softer.

Gotta love social media…. Brings out the best of us.
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
There's no way this rumor is true. For it to be true, the 2024-25 Suns would have to have some fight in them.
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
If it is true, who was fighting who? Beal? Booker? Durant?

I suppose it wouldn't surprise me if the flight was among the coaching staff?

There should be a Vasilije Micic appreciation thread.
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
Assuming Gambo is right about Green and Beal… our depth chart is:
1. Booker
2. Green, Allen
3. Brooks, Royce
4. Dunn
5. Richards, Oso
Major needs at the 4 and 5… need a pg still too.
Best case scenario is probably you trade Green for a 5(Claxton?), then draft one of the PG’s(Demin, Fears, Jackucionus) and strike gold. Dunn takes a leap and you kinda got a good team.

I'll go out on a limb and predict a 0% chance both Allen and Royce are on the opening night roster.

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
How can the Suns field a competitive team?
Short of trading Booker (which might have become a necessity), I think that there's one way to make this mess of a roster a winning team -- run an oversized point guard so that you can play 2 SGs at the same time. Thankfully, Oso would be an excellent candidate for this.
Have Oso at the high post on offense, with 2 x SGs (Booker, Green?) on the wings. Make sure that the SGs don't commit Durant's cardinal sin -- holding on to the ball and play iso. If they don't have an immediate advantage, pass it back to Oso. Have Dunn and a draft pick or a trade candidate play an Amare-like dunker role in the offense.
On defense, you'd need a C primary shotblocker. You have some assets (Grayson Allen, Royce) for this.
Probably a play-in or 7/8 playoff seed but one that could surprise if it comes together...all depends on Booker's leadership and the coach.
---
At this point, I'd rather trade Booker. Give Green and Beal the chance to shine, build up their trade value.

I also think that JAMES JONES has become crucial to the Suns. He's shown that he could select good talent with late picks. The Suns now have a bunch of garbage picks that Jones could use to select good role players.

I really hope we don't trade Booker. Considering the clowns running the circus, they'll trade him for Pat Bev and change.
