The disparity between what we(as posters) wanted and what we got I think is explained by how much the suns valued Dillon Brooks.

I wonder if we could’ve got 2027 if we took Landale instead of Brooks.

It’s just depressing the level of incompetence of our front office.
Look man, I don't know what you really expected to get out of this old thin skinned bitch getting traded, they were never gonna get a haul.
I mean, sure I expected a bad haul, but not this bad. Like you guys said… we should have snagged a young guy or two. You know damn well those other gms were on the line and probably conspired to fleece the rookie gm. It was Gregory’s “welcome to the nba” moment.

Yep, we were in a bad situation. No getting around it. But Ishbia put us in this position. Let's see what other moves happen this offseason.

And as much as I haven't liked Brooks in the past, he did look pretty good this postseason and he does bring the grit and grime or whatever Gregory was calling our new identity.

I mean I think you’re letting your personal opinion of Brooks cloud your judgement. He absolutely fits exactly what Ishbia said he wanted to be the culture of the team. He’s also a good basketball player. I personally don’t like him, but hard to argue with a guy that’s known for his defense who put up 14 points and shot 40% from 3. He’s better than either Royce or Grayson.

Too bad that grit and grime comes with a bunch of flop and chuck. I hate him so much 😂

Watching these finals have made it clear. We are never winning shit. Gregory? He plays with thomas the engine and Sam Presti works on super trains. I'm sad

I would've taken only whatever salary Houston wanted to get rid of if we could have gotten 2027 and 2029. Even if we had to forgo 2025 #10. We are still prioritizing the short term. Gross.

I wonder if Houston would’ve given 27 and 29 if we took Green/Landale…maybe, but those are also pretty valuable future chips…betting on us to be bad is smart business.

One bright spot is that I get to see Houston more than any other team, and now I don't have to suffer through 82-games of low bball IQ from Dillon Brooks and Jalen Green. They were brutal.
You get to watch a black hole who still thinks he’s good at basketball but can’t stick a crossover to save his life.

Bro I might have to double up on my anxiety and depression meds for the indefinite future. Suns better get a sponsorship for lexipro.

This is a legendarily bad return. Part of me suspects if it might have been better just to hold on to KD and let him go in FA.

The Suns are going to get total garbage on a Green trade because they NEED to make a deal. Teams sense desperation.

You might...even see me disappearing for good. Not there yet but I'm not sure how much more of this I can take.

This is the end. Final nail in the coffin for this decade I guess. We shall not see light until Ishbia admits how bad he runs this org. and decides to let competent guys do their jobs.

Nah man. Nah.

Brooks is an intense physical defender, but he's not smart and balances his good defense with bad decisions. He's the kind of instigator who brings out the best in his opponents - he doesn't bother great players, he just pisses them off. Plus, he's a 35% 3pt shooter. He almost hit 40% last season, but that was an anomaly.

I would take Royce over Brooks every day of the week.

I despise Dillon Brooks, but he's 100% better than Royce I only show up once a week O'Neale.
