He's got inside info, but he's such a shill. Remember a very similar post about Nurk?

So we could have had 2027 or 2029 and said no thanks?

EDIT: Hope Gambo is right or else we are even stupider than we thought

Dude, I'm just messing with you. I know. It's all in fun, man. You've been here through this mess with the rest of us these last couple years. This dude took it to the next level.

Gambo's spinning hard there and the Nurk stuff was the first thing to come to mind when I saw that tweet about Green. I liken Green to this generation's Jamal Crawford. Hugely talented but inefficient offensive player, no defense, doesn't seem to impact winning.

If the Windhorst reporting is to be believed, Ishbia just fumbled this so hard.

If KD wanted Houston this badly, and Houston wanted him, then you had to be prepared to walk away. The desperation for getting #10 pre-draft (a stupid self imposed deadline in the first place) is just another example an impatience from ownership. Ishbia got played by someone who knows how to bluff.

Windhorst is paid to stir the pot, Marc Stein thinks it was the best deal on the table.

I think KD's defense is still above average, but only when he puts in the effort. And last season he definitely did not put in the effort.

Like how he calls out fans for calling him thin skinned than deletes it... hilarious. Enjoy Rockets fans! I look forward to him in Space Jam 3 since the baby loves being dramatic.

Look man, I don't know what you really expected to get out of this old thin skinned bitch getting traded, they were never gonna get a haul.
I mean, sure I expected a bad haul, but not this bad. Like you guys said… we should have snagged a young guy or two. You know damn well those other gms were on the line and probably conspired to fleece the rookie gm. It was Gregory’s “welcome to the nba” moment.
Can't force a team to offer something.
Also don’t have to take a shit sandwhich. No works both ways.
I'd rather have this trade than still have Durant. The offers were only going to get worse as he ages.
I’m just glad we got something for him before he blows out his Achilles again.

I can't wait till the rockets fans get the first few half-ass passes at mid court and start losing their minds.

Reasonable, but then at that point, just let him expire or see what is available at the trade deadline. Taking another negative asset with long term money to get #10 (at a position and skillset of a pre-existing redundancy) just isn’t it.

There's no way to move forward if you bring him back. You immediately set Ott up to fail, you delay the process, for what? You're giving whoever has your first and even better pick, you waste another year of Booker, it just didn't make any sense to let him expire.

Green is at least on a decent contract, definitely not untradable if they choose to go that route.

Just look at the current roster construction... Ott's already set up to fail. Your argument is moot. We're wasting time just keeping Book... we aren't winning anything with him, don't know what you're thinking the positive of keeping him is.

Gambo says Minnesota changed their offer from:

Gobert
DiVincenzo
Dillingham or Shannon
#17

To:

Randle
#17
#31

He believes based on KD not wanting to commit long term.

So it sounds like Minnesota still would have pulled the trigger, they just wouldn’t have given us Gobert or Dillingham.

Knew the propaganda from Gambo was coming because there's no other honest way to frame it than the Rockets got KD at a discount.

As for KD getting "picked on", give me a break, the entire team was picked on defensively last season. Comments like that make him sound like a SAS type clown.

I keep seeing people put Ryan Dunn at PF. He is not a PF. He is a SF. Please, Suns, don’t ruin Dunn by making him play the 4, just because you traded for Dillon Brooks. Bench Brooks (and Green) if you have to.
Agreed! He can guard PFs when necessary but he should primarily be used as a SF.
Nobody thinks Dunn is a PF. Folks are putting him at PF because he's the only guy on the roster for that spot. It's just pointing out that we are in bad shape outside of our SGs.
