Not worth the 8mil but I thought he brought some juice and tenacity. Or maybe it just looked that way compared to the corpses we had most of the year.

I liked his hustle, but he felt pretty replaceable to me. Reminded me of Abdel Nader or Roddy or some of these other tweener swings.

He’s a minimum signing guy…we can always bring him back. I bet he’s pissed he wasn’t the one traded for Williams though haha

I like Colin, he should fit well under Ott.
I think he's solid. A poor man's TJ McConnell.

I did like Cody Martin. He wasn't great and seemed to have injury issues, but he played hard when he did play unlike most of the Suns last season. But that's crazy how much he cost the Suns due to the luxury tax. That 2nd apron is crippling. I sure hope we make it under and I hope the player's union does something about it in the next CBA.

Younger with a lot more upside.

Well, yeah. TJ has peaked. I don't know if Colin can get to where McConnell is but it's something to strive for and hope for for us fans. I'm just glad we retained him as he was one of the few to give it his all every minute he was in a game. If we have a team full of those guys next season, I will be a very happy man.

I'm eager to see those passing instincts. This team could really benefit from a connector at the center position.

I don’t recall ever hearing about acquiring a second round pick in the deal either, but apparently we have reacquired our own 2029 2nd.

Nice to get that 2nd round pick back, especially because it is our own. And the 2029 1st we give up is heavily swapped already so its value is a bit lower. I still don't love the trade due to Williams's health issues and pending FA status, but if he plays healthy and well, it'll be a winning trade for us.

More positive vibes
Spoiler: show/hide
Hallelujah!

Most people blame KD and Beal for the malaise of this team over the past two seasons, and that's mostly fair. But this guy was a prime example nearly every damn night and it drove me crazy how many fans wanted a bigger role handed to him.

Nice guy, not a nice NBA player.
Every night? He didn't even play half of the games. He was 14th on the roster in total minutes played.

Don't get me wrong, I think he sucks. But if Bol Bol can hurt your team culture, it was shit to begin with.
Meant every night he played. My mistake, my emotion was high with the decision.

I think trading Nick Richards would be a mistake unless we get full cap space (don't take back any non-cuttable salary) and/or a 1st for him. The oft-injured Williams and the 18-year-old Maluach are not a rocksteady center rotation. I think Richards will still get plenty of minutes for us next year.

I think they need a different look at C, all 4 that are on the roster arent gonna be a threat from outside of the paint.
