He could sign for the minimum, but without space or an exception, we wouldn’t have bird rights or early bird rights to give him much or a raise…but if we get out of the 2nd apron, options would be there.

I wouldn’t mind bringing him in on a vet min to rehab
We can (and should) bring him in on a 2-year minimum. He's already getting his full salary and he's close with Booker. It would be a home run.

Yes, a 2 year vet min deal would be smart

Would he be willing to come off the bench though? Or would you start him and slow down our pace?

I think you cross that bridge in a year.

Maybe we're talking about two different players. I was talking about Paul. You guys are talking about Lillard apparently.

I would love to sign Lillard to a two year minimum but I don’t think he’s doing that. He probably wants to chase a ring. Might be Lakers bound after he sits out this season.

I say Miami for Lillard but I think a Blazers beatwriter said he also wants to end his career in Portland.

Maybe he should go to the Spurs and play off Dylan Harper after they move Fox.

If we thought for a moment KD was not guilty of locker room drama...

KD dribbles the clock down, passes a bad pass with 3 seconds left, turnover, dammit Royce that's not sustainable basketball. Yep, sounds about right.
Love, Hurts.

A buyout is not a good thing though..it means there was zero market for him at his price range.
He’s in some good company apparently ;)

Suns wouldn’t trade Beal for him?
Let me know when the Lakers agree to a buyout
Gambo just said that he was told in May that LeBron might opt in and then get bought out by the Lakers for $25-30M. He said the Lakers don’t want him and he doesn’t want to be back.

LeBron to the Suns for the vet min? :P

Mike Brown is a better coach than Thibodeau.

The interesting thing here is everywhere Brown goes the players seem to hate his guts.
