We should have been able to get Whitmore and the seconds. I even read that we chose the seconds over our 2027 first.
I would doubt that, but yes if we took the 2nds over our 2027 1st, that was dumb.
!!! Where did you read this?? If true, totally outrageous. So much so that I plain don't buy it. On the other hand, the second rounders instead of Whitmore, I could see myself also doing that because if I think about it carefully, if I had gotten Cam in the trade, my first instinct would have been to shop him around to get as much draft capital as possible, especially considering the other players acquired in the trade.

I don’t know where Jeremy heard it…I don’t believe it either
He did have a 64/53/100 shooting splits for an .831 TS% last year.
In a total of 6 games lol. Still, those are some tremendous shooting splits. He’s supposedly an excellent defender as well and capable of guarding multiple positions. It does make me question what this might mean for Grayson and/or Royce, if anything.
Plowden killed in Summer League last year as an undrafted free agent and parlayed it into a 2-way contract with the Warriors. He may just be a “AAAA” player. Too good for the minors, not quite good enough for the majors. Oh well. I would have liked to have seen him get a shot.
It was such a weird and unfulfilling experience. Actually, downright depressing. I wasn't happy we gave up the farm and our fun, young core, but I was excited about the possibilities of adding a superstar. I'll tell you, Mr. Durant, you're no Charles Barkley! What a letdown, man. I learned a lot about you but not in a good way.
