Not bad for an 18 year old! So, you're saying he looks a year older than he is?

Yes, it's a very good sign for our new coaching staff. Last year's team was just as unorganized.O_Gardino wrote: ↑Fri Jul 11, 2025 7:38 pmI meant Yuri Collins, the PG. But Carroll gets credit, too. The team looks like they have been playing together for 2 months.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Fri Jul 11, 2025 7:34 pmI think you mean Carroll, but I agree. The Suns are very well organized for a SL team.

He just buried Sarr under the court.

Last shift to end the game is why Sarr is worth the risk to many. I just don't like guys that seem to always need someone else to put a key in their back.TOO wrote: ↑Fri Jul 11, 2025 7:55 pmOso on the other hand, very encouraging. It's too bad he cant shoot a lickFlagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Fri Jul 11, 2025 7:52 pmSarr put in one good shift in the 3rd, but yeah, his full game evaluation should not make Wiz fans feel great.

1-0. If the NBA squad plays this hard we will not be bad to watch.

Their win total is too low right now. Losing KD's talent will be pretty well offset by the re-alignment in defense and hustle, and they won 36 games last season. Other than injury, I don't see them doing much worse than that and certainly not in the 30 win range.

I watched with the Timeline guys on playback and it was fun. The IV Point Play guy, David, was there too. Brea was awesome. He's going to be a solid pro. Maluach is what I expected for a first game. No worse position in Summer League than the Center spot. Guards aren't adept at running pick and rolls and the offense is more run to the wings. I'm not discouraged tho I know some are going to overreact to his poor shooting. If you take away all the dumb 3s he was 4-7 for 11 points. It will get better.
Some other highlights... Ryan Dunn. Dude looks great. Oso, if he can play like this against NBA players he will have a career.

Good to see that monster dunk followed by finally hitting a 3. I love that he has the confidence to let it fly though.

Yep, loved the effort throughout on the defensive end. So far this alignment thing is really working out. Also, was really pleased to see how well this team gets along. I think it was a Huntley dunk where they were all celebrating on the sidelines.

Fun game. Love how confident Maluach was in letting it fly. His misses didn’t look bad. He really needs to strengthen his base, but I was mostly encouraged by how he played. All the young guys, actually. Not a Josh Jackson in the bunch.

Brea!!! He is legit. He just looks like Book did as a rookie, it's eery.
Maluach looked soft and sloppy. He's 18 and looked it.
Oso looked confident taking it to the rim. It's sad he has no jumper whatsoever which limits his chances to be a consistent rotational NBA player

Oso just seems like a guy that if he finds the right fit and situation will flourish. He’s just a really good basketball player…Draymond vibes that way. I think it’s definitely him or Dunn for the last starting spot. If he ever shoots, he’s probably our PF of the future

Dunn also just looked too good for summer league. Excited to see Fleming…I thought Huntley was him at first, but then found out Fleming didn’t play haha…that’s what I get for it just being background video

I'd usually assume Dunn would sit out the rest of SL, but that guy is competitive so who knows?
I also initially thought Huntley was Fleming. Similar size, haircuts and jersey numbers, and of course ESPN/Marc Jones didn't inform the viewer of substitutions. I was pretty relieved when I figured out it was Huntley because my first thought was about coming to a realization of how Fleming could've slid into the 2nd round.

It looked to me like Oso has been working on his shot. His FTs looked better today. I think he was 3 for 4.Split T wrote: ↑Fri Jul 11, 2025 10:02 pmOso just seems like a guy that if he finds the right fit and situation will flourish.
