I don't think it's crazy at all. Nash like career trajectory?Wally_West wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 10:33 pmIs it crazy to think that Gillespie might actually develop into a star? He’s looks fucking great.

He's fucking fantastic. Where do Allen and Green fit into this once healthy??? CG has earned 25 mpg. It's a good problem to have.
And does anyone not love Dillon the villain at this point?

I remember Linsanity, let's pump the brakes. Maybe he becomes Dragic 2.0 though.Furlanfufi wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 10:34 pmI don't think it's crazy at all. Ott is a stud. Green and Allen add the needed the depth to keep the offensive game flowing. We need them integrated to see how he whole puzzle looks.specialsauce wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 10:36 pmHe's fucking fantastic. Where do Allen and Green fit into this once healthy??? Dragic is a reasonable outcome and he made an ASG and an All-NBA team. We still need to see what he looks like once opposing teams start putting their best defenders on him. Of course, that defender won't be on Book anymore.TOO wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 10:37 pmI remember Linsanity, let's pump the brakes. I said star not superstar but Dragic at his peak, was a star. Him becoming Dragic, would be great.

Looking at his skills set, I think it is entirely possible. I do think his ceiling is even higher, like a Nash-Manu hybrid on offense and a Stockton on defense. But hard ceiling to reach.Wally_West wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 10:48 pmI said star not superstar but Dragic at his peak, was a star. Him becoming Dragic, would be great.

One thing that impresses me a lot: Coach Ott is getting good production from guys like Goodwin and BOOYA! I think this team is good enough to be 6th in the West when complete!

Look at Austin Reaves, undrafted player, only a year older than Gillespie and averaging 28 points a game. Don’t think it’s crazy for Gillespie to average 18 and 8 as a starter or something similar.virtual9mm wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 10:56 pmLooking at his skills set, I think it is entirely possible. I love this team! Wow, Gillespie just keeps getting better and better. And then the pathetic Lakers have to leave their starters on the court deep into the fourth quarter just so LeBron can get his 10 points and keep his streak alive.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

A lot of guys who date Kardashians probably end up with cases of "groin soreness."

Couldn't watch this one, just got home. Looks like it was a very satisfying result.
My "wait, really?" stat from checking the box score was Royce with 11 assists. Tied a career high.
