I'd consider Allen tradable at this point. It's kind of pathetic how many games he's missed. He can shoot the hell out of the ball but he's probably one of the weakest defenders and all of these missed games have given others an opportunity and they've stepped up big time.
Following your logic, Jalen Green should be already packed and renting by week.

But I agree with you, keep Allen only if they trade Green and viceversa. But I would add that Green could get us a bigger piece and Allen would be more open to come from the bench behind Gillespie and Booker.

He's worse than Luka. Harden. He's a complete traffic cone..

...

Cute. Just because you have a boner for every suns player ever doesn't make them alternate facts. You can just say "I'm a tried and true homer and I always overvalue and over appreciate our players so I just watch and enjoy the game."
Royce is a role player. He isn't a great defender, but in plenty of games this year, he has saved us with dead-eye shooting from 3. Some games he's off and doesn't contribute much. But he gives me what I want from his position. I wish he were a better defender and more consistent from 3, sure. But if he were, he'd be commanding a much higher salary and would be a borderline star, so we probably wouldn't have him. An imperfect player but far from our biggest problem on the team. Not sure why you have such a hate-boner for him; you seem to pick one or two players on the Suns every year (Oso / "Bozo" is your other one this season) to rag on. IMO Oso has had a much bumpier season than Royce, but even he has improved a lot since a really rough first month.

Let's also keep some perspective - Royce is probably more of an 8th or 9th guy being forced to start due to injuries.

One track mind, this one. Once he sets his sights on you, forget about it!
The stats don't lie he is statistically the worst defender in the league.

Also, you literally just said you don't watch the games so how can you chime in really? lol.

Let's act like I've never seen him play lol. You don't like him, we get it. You cherry picked 1 stat, I put up a much more encompassing list. If all NBA players were measured in 1v1 defense then big men would never win DPOY.
Thanks for bringing facts to saucy's fantasy.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I think you kinda have to trade Royce and Grayson for salary dump/ expiring contracts so you can have the money to keep Gillespie, Williams, Goodwin and maybe Bouyea. Not because Ish is scared of spending money but because I don’t think he wants to mess with 2nd apron repeater stuff and how much that limits our roster flexibility and future draft stuff.

At the present moment, without trading Grayson or Royce, maybe both? I think you at real risk of losing one of Gillespie or Williams. If I had to pick to keep one, I’m keeping Gilly because we have Maluach, but I want to keep both! I’m absolutely okay with trading Grayson and Royce to do it!

I’m sure in a few years he won’t mind dipping in them aprons again, but right now, I think he wants to stay away from them. Maybe when Green comes back and we look like a true contender and he says fuck it, goes into the aprons to keep everyone but that’s still weeks away to see.

Royce is not the worst defender in the NBA when he's awake. The problem is that seems to happen every couple of games, and that's not enough for a rotation player on this team.

I think trading him and Allen or one of them for a good enough PF or draft picks is not the worst option.

I worry about shooting if we move Grayson and Royce. Royce is a pretty bad defender, but he’s a pretty good offensive player. I need to see Green back before I make any decisions, but we are accumulating a lot of guys that need minutes and can’t really play the 3 or 4. I don’t think Booker, Gillespie, Grayson, and Green is tenable. They are all guards and need 25 minutes a game. Someone in that group needs to go. Royce is a bit bigger, but not much. I think ideally Green would come back and provide enough shooting that we can move Grayson/Royce for a starting PF(preferably one that can shoot. Those LA starting PFs interest me(Collins and Rui).

Ideal Depth Chart:

G: Booker/Gillespie/Bouyea
G: Green/Goodwin/Bouyea
W: Brooks/Dunn/Livers
PF:New PF/Fleming/Livers
C: Williams/Oso/Maluach

Yeah good point. Expecting a perimeter player to maybe idk not immediately let his man blow by him is asking for a lot. Especially for someone who is a supposed "3&D."

Really he's just 3. And again, he's a for whatever reason better liked Troy Daniels

I'd rather give his minutes to Fleming.

We all would, but he's not ready for those minutes yet.

If I'm the Suns I'm offering Dallas a chance to lineup with Flaggs timeline better and giving them the false hope of Ryan Dunn and Royce for PJ.

PJ would be great but cannot be traded this year due to signing his extension. That would have to be an offseason move.
