Nah, did you buy this response? (Read it on a DA stoned voice)
All Things Ayton
Re: All Things Ayton
Devil's advocate here: DA is having a perfectly fine season for the Lakers. He is averaging 14.3 ppg (0.1 down from last year) on a ridiculous .703 FG%, along with 8.5 rebounds (down from 10.2 last year), and around 1 block/game. His FT% is a bit low at .610, but otherwise his stats are fine. Not an all-star or anything, and all the classic DA stuff is there like inconsistent effort, low hustle, lack of passion or drive, bit of whining about his role. But they signed him to a pretty cheap deal, gave up no assets to get him, and have not made any commitment to him beyond this year. For what they gave him, he's been a pretty decent role player. He's a douche and I hate him, but he isn't having a total bust of a season.

Lakers getting the full DA experience now lol. They were talking a lot back in October/November about DA being the perfect big and exactly what they needed.

But is he totally wrong ? If you make plays for big men, they will play harder on the court.
JJ Redick needs to make plays for him.

Ayton with 4 points and 5 rebounds tonight. Lakers subreddit is going off on him. Poor guy. Lakers thought they had their next center too.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
